I don't know why there are so many comments about Clint being senile. Most of you ATSers can only HOPE to look as good as him when you are that age! Loved his presentation. It wasn't painful to watch. What is painful are some of the comments here. And many don't know he was the mayor of Monterey Bay. He was a politician.

I got what the idea was, but I found it just awkward. Some very good points made, but it was awkward.

Anyone old enough to remember how Bob Newhart used to have skits where he'd pretend to be on the phone? Those were awkwardly amusing because not for Bob but for the situation that he was acting out.

This seemed awkward for Clint, like he wasn't up to the task? IDK.

Mittens'll still do what the 0.001% tell him to do if he gets in, just like Barry is/has been doing. Don't fool yourself.

Just curious. What has any of that have to do with Clint's speech?

Were you listening to Clint Eastwood ???

-- When someone does not do the job, you got to let him go. --

Obamas policies have clearly failed. Everyone can see it. Socialism doesn't work.

Obama lied by omission. He failed to inform us he intended to wrap a wet blanket

around Free Market Capitalism.

The liberals didn't like it when Clint Eastwood fired Obama.

Millions of Americans were tuned in to hear it.

- Obama is doomed. -

I agree, it was extremely entertaining, can't believe I have to wait 4 more years to see the next one. I wonder who they will drag up next and what new crazy characters will be on the scene. Is the democrat one as crazy. I imagine it's an Obama worship fest

The DNC will be packed full of craziness. With their lineup, they are obviously running on their "republicans hate women" theme. They have Sandra Fluke....you know the one who thinks women should have free contraceptives. They have Planned Parenthood and NARAL. They have Charlie Crist, a former governor of Fla whom Florida was only too happy to get rid of because of the way he adored Obama. Fla has a large Tea Party presence.
Apparently the DNC feels that the only thing women are concerned about is the right to an abortion. Like a brilliant young woman said on Fox yesterday, it is an insult to women to be treated that way. The socialists in the Democrat Party have completely overrun any conservative elements that may still have existed and are appealing to the most radical themes.

I don't know what y'all thought but it was certainly unique!
Some will say he spoke truth. Some may say he was weird.
I don't know how I feel.
When he was featured at the Super bowl I was like yeah! Clint Eastwood !
But now?... I'm just confused.

What he was doing was poking a little fun at Obama. He didn't get serious until he had to close when he said America belongs to us, and the government works for us, and if they don't do a good job, they can be let go.

The whole Anglo/American system is just a huge fraud run by the richest in society. There is no one that represents my interests on the current political spectrum. Y

And why should it? It should represent the interests of American citizens. The problem is the globalists have no concern for the electorate but for their own designs which is the NWO. We were reminded that Obama declared himself a Citizen of the World, and we know his interests are not for America, as he has been sabotaging all our interests, and our relationship with our allies(one of which would be Britain....so don't blame the rest of us if your interests are not served by this President).

What does "we own this country mean?

This means that Obama doesn't own it and has no right to go around Congress or the will of the people. It means that Nancy Pelosi is supposed to listen to the millions of people protesting her asinine program and her telling us we have to pass bills she wants passed just to find out what's in them. It means the 1% doesn't own it by some sort of default( I hate the expression of the 1% but sometimes it works).

Clint Eastwood was fantastic and so is this movie about Obama . -- 2016 --

I think you need to read these reviews. After reading the reviews go to Box Office Mojo.

The movie is doing really well. -- Obamas father and mentors were Card Carying Communists.

- Very Informative: 2016 - reviews

We can't go wrong following Clint Eastwood.

That's what they said about Ronald Regan.

- We own this country.

"Sharing" is enough, but you have to have possetion don't you?

- When someone does not do the job, you got to let him go.

And they will be replaced with someone else who cannot do the job. I bet my 1982 Suzuki GSX750 ET that the next US presidential term, whoever serves it, will be done by someone who doesn't do what the majority of people want.

It's too late to make a difference, the zombie apocolypse started with TV..

I wish I could say I'm shocked at how so many people can be taken in so easily, but I'm not.

Since when do the views of a senile, 82 year old actor reflect the views of the people that the Republican Party NEEDS to attract?

They can keep pandering to the geezers but what happens when those geezers die? Will there be another set of geezers waiting to endorse these politicians?

I personally didn't care about his speech, and didn't changed my mind one bit about Romney. Obama is a much better president than someone like Romney.

One thing I was hoping for is for Obama to raise the taxes to the rich people, yeah he still haven't done it, but since he's democrat there's still a big chance he'll do it within the next 4 years. If Romney takes over, this will never happen and we'll regress back to the Bush policies that clearly don't work.

3 Questions:

Is he an American?

Is he a Republican?

Why shouldn't he speak?

You only said that because Clint Eastwood fired Obama.

If Clint would have showed up at the DNC you would say how wonderful he is.

Clint Eastwood attracted a lot of eyeballs last night and hit a home run for

Mitt Romney. Always remember " We own this country."

Did anyone vet Clint's mental condition before they let him speak?

It should be showing the American public just how completely senile and out of touch the Republican Party is...

And you didn't answer my question.

I mean, you did type some words but they somehow were not related to the post you quoted.

Please answer me here.

Do you really think that things are going to change under Mitt Romney and why?

You obviously don't get "satire". I thought the idea was good. The execution not so good.
