Is GOP convention confiscating Ron Paul signs?
(Christian Science Monitor - csmonitor.com)

Ron Paul supporters have felt poorly treated at the GOP convention, from rules instituted to diminish their clout to apparent attempts to squelch spontaneous displays of Ron Paul affection.

Very short video. Security removed RP signs, but allowed Romney signs to remain. Hapless RP supporter instructed to hide or remove his sign (a mousepad actually) - even during the Ron Paul video tribute.

Ron Paul Convention Delegates Accuse Security Of Suppressing Their Signs

The convention "has been a scripted media event to coronate Mitt Romney," said Mukk. "I'm lucky our buttons haven't been confiscated yet."

Zentz said such censorship would only worsen the already contentious relationship between Paul's supporters and the Republican Party.

As well they should it is not Ron Paul's night, it is Mitt Romney's night. No amount of whining, crying or stomping their feet will change that.

Gestapo tactics. The Brown Shirts first had to suppress Hitler's rivals before they could move on to bigger and better things.

What would it hurt to let them hold up their Ron Paul signs? Is Mitten's ego that fragile?
