About two months ago I noticed that I could feel intense buzzing in my forehead (especially during meditation) Sometimes it gets so intense it feels like an ache. I can also make it happen any time I bring my attention to that part of my body. I have been told that this could be the beginning of a third eye opening but I have not yet experienced anything profound. Once I was meditating in bed and I felt the same kind of vibration at the top of my head , and another time while meditating I felt a chill building up from the base of my spine that made my eyes flutter a bit and made my body tremble. It felt wonderful like the beginning of an orgasm.

What kind of techniques could I use to intensify these feelings and have a profound experience. Have any of you experienced a full third eye opening? How did you attain it?

I have ordered this book, though it hasn't arrived yet, you could probably ask your library if they have a copy.

The great lock as they call it in yoga is the best way to increase energy from the base of the spine and up the chakras to the crown and beyond. If you are feeling pain in your thrid eye, then you are forcing it open when it is not fully ready to blossom. Take it slower, there are obviously lessons for you to learn before it will open fully.

Forcing open a chakra before it is ready can cause mental and physical issues, some long term, some permanent. Pace yourself and let it come naturally. You will know when the time is right.

Focusing energy to parts of your body will also cause a buzzing sensation, as the concentrated energy builds as your spirit muscle gets stronger. Keep doing this. Make sure that your larynx energy spot is nice and open. Try to connect it with your third eye during meditation, this will cause visions to appear over a period of time. Each person is different, and so are their soul blueprints, thus the time it takes to open higher chakras varies greatly. I learned energy control on my own when i was very young, and so at the moment my 12th chakra is blossoming, slowly but surely.

Alright, were to begin. I feel these "orgasms" probably 50 times a day if not more and they happen randomly. It's at a point where it has become a natural experience for me. If I want I can make the "chills" happen by flexing the third eye and I get a chill from my head to my toe. The thing is, I haven't learned how to use this for my advantage. I don't know how to "channel" these chills so to speak, if there is even a method or a reason to. It's at a point where these orgasms are more intense then my actual ones. My advice to you, don't ejaculate. Store the energy in the lower chakras (sacral chakra) and draw this energy up into the higher chakras. The reason, when you ejaculate you pretty much lose your vital sexual energy and it takes a lot of time to make more. You create a leak in your sexual/sensual chakra (sacral) when you let this energy go in a not so healthy manner especially when watching porn. This creative energy should be channel by creative outlets, such as arts, music, dance, anything that gets you to be creative and makes you enjoy it. That would be my technique to have a healthy third eye opening. Focus on your lower chakras, before you work with your higher ones. I did have a full blown third eye experience, but it needs a thread of its own.

The only thing that comes to my mind is the shambhavi mudra combined with other powerful mudras (e.g.: the pure yang mudra, the hakini mudra, the ones from the tripura tapini upanishads, etc.) while the left or right heel is near the perineum.

Yeah that's the beginning -- you should feel strong heat in the "lower tan tien" -- below and behind the navel. If you build up the energy enough then the middle of the brain gets burning hot and permanently magnetized with bliss energy. This works through the vagus nerve.

There's an exercise called the "small universe" and you can get the c.d. from springforestqigong.com... and this practice will then open up the energy centers more.

Yeah the chills is actually the electrons clearing out the free radicals internally -- purifying the body of the "bad jing" or electrochemical energy. So it takes building up the electromagnetic energy more to really open up the third eye -- as you state storing up the energy. This is very difficult in our day and age for obvious reasons.

Anyway -- after the third eye is permanently magnetized then whenever the diet is impure there is this internal tingling as the free radicals are being neutralized -- so this means the diet has to be very strict. On the other hand food builds up the electrochemical energy -- but it still has to be purified into the electromagnetic energy. So it's a very tricky process to do it all properly, requiring the right diet and also the right environment -- emotional environment to practice. This is why there's monasteries, etc. but even then it's difficult.

So the real advanced training is done in a cave in solitude as through qigongmaster.com... -- this qigong master Chunyi Lin did a month in full lotus yoga position with no sleep the whole time and just three small bottles of water and three apples.

I use the prana mudra when beginning meditation to power up so to speak but I have never really used any complex mudras or asanas. Thanks for the advice though. I'll look into it

I actually try not to ejaculate but sometimes my girlfriend makes it difficult not to. When I do go a long time without ejaculating I notice a huge increase in energy and I can feel my third eye buzzing away practically all day long. I can also feel my other chakras more easily too. The chills going up the spine is an awesome feeling though isn't it? Recently I feel them very faintly while changing hand mudras. The first time it happened was intense though, I almost felt like I was spasming but I wasn't even sure if my body was moving at all. Someone told me that kundalini starts this way.

I wouldn't call it a pain at all. I described it as a ache because sometimes the feeling is so "full" that it radiates through my whole head. Almost as if there were a line going from my forehead to the back of my head and the energy is radiating out from the center of the line in all directions. It can get quite intense if I work on it.

Even the third eye partially being opened, makes you sensitive to your other chakras and your overall environment. Your intuition greatly increases, which helps you figure out which chakras you should take a closer attention to. I remember waking up in the middle of the night and experiencing my whole room bursting with absolute vivid colors of purple and green, geometric shapes flying from one corner to another. Vortexes of portals on my walls and ceilings and seeing these inter-dimensional beings coming and going out of them. I didn't blink once just staring at this beautiful surreal environment like a bull blown '___' experience. I have never seen colors and shapes so vivid and beautiful in my entire life. HD didn't have $hyt on what I seen that tonight. Anyways, I can help you get to that level if you wish. Please PM for further information. Cheers

Here is a exercise to do if your 3rd eye is partially opened, try meditating with eyes closed untill you see the usual purple and green energy at its peak, then go to a mirror and stare at one point on your face without moving your eyes, after a few minutes, maybe 10 to 20 minutes your eyes will glaze over with a purple or yellow sheen, then it will increase and you will see rainbow light emanating from your 3rd eye,it's an overlapping from the 3rd eye onto your normal sight,I've done this a good few times but stopped as I couldn't see a purpose for it,although it probably helps exercise the third eye,as does meditation

Thanks lucid, you told me about this on another thread and it sounds awesome. I haven't tried it yet but I definitely will. What kind of light would work best for this? And what time of day would be ideal?

Then your Third Eye is Over-opened. Too much energy can cause damage to your other bodies, especially your Astral and Auric bodies.

Well I don't believe it is opened in the first place so how can it be over-opened? I think that I am in the process of opening it and I just want to learn about some good techniques to use. I think that my chakras just may be out of balance and I need to work on the lower ones first.

I have never heard about an over-opening though. What kind of damage can occur? How would you prevent it?

That information can be found in Healer books. Try Hands of Light by Barbara Brenon.

Toward what I believed to be the end of the evening, Xaxe, a great hunter, healer, and shaman, laid hands on me....I felt the energy, his energy, surge through my body. He had his hands on me for about twenty-five or thirty seconds, but it felt like he had only touched me for a split second. Time stood still. I literally had a short out of body experience. I could see him touching me from just above my body, almost like I was floating six feet off the ground, watching myself. All of a sudden I was back in my body observing an image of him thumbing through the book that contained all the pictures and moments in my life. I saw images of my childhood I hadn't remembered in years, pictures of my mother and me walking on a beach and shelling, very strong images. At the time, both during his touch and immediately afterward, I described it as him flipping through the pages of my life....Later the next morning, I spoke with Xaxe about the trance dance. He told me he wanted access to me in a way that was not possible through a translator....Xaxe's curiosity was such a caring, loving gesture....When he detached from me it felt like someone was unplugging a lamp from a wall socket. As he let go of me and continued to dance around the fire, I spontaneously burst into uncontrollable tears....I had been stripped to my emotional core, completely stunned by what I had witnessed so up close and personal.151 151 Andrew Zimmern, The Bizarre Truth: how I walked out the door mouth first – and came back shaking my head (Random House, 2009), 234-5.

This is a shakti or Taoist shen or San !Xia healing transmission -- real spirit holographic energy in action.
