this is all I understand....

the lady is so out of shape I'd be willing to bet she wouldn't be able to do my job for 8 hours, let alone 40 hours a week......
and she is saying that I am lazy because I often don't have more than a dollar in my pocket???

maybe she should come and show me how it's done!!! I want to see her in my shop for a day, doing my work....and then hearing about how lazy I am!!!

Wow - I'd imagine she could feed quite a few starving kids in Africa...

... without spending a single cent.

She a sick human being to say such things, but...

She has a little bit of a point, but is way off base. I know plenty of people who can barley pay their bills to survive, yes spend their refund on a flatscreen or go party it up. I know people who can't afford to take their kid to the amusement park, yet spend $10 bucks a day on smokes, and maybe the same on beer. When you are poor, every penny you have matters, and spending it on things like booze and alcohol when you have a family to support is just selfish. Is she way off base? Yes. Does she have a sliver of a point. Yes. Saying "and you'll be rich" is rediculous. If she said something like "if your broken, maybe you shouldn't blow all your cash on booze and alcohol".
Ofcourse, she doesn't really look like a spokes person for motivation.

IMHO this woman is what is wrong with the world we live in today. She preaches how others should work harder while she is obese and looks like jaba the hut. She was spoon fed her millions of which she turned into billions by selling mother earths resources to China.

The way she talks it is like she was working in the slave labor mines or she herself invented natural resources.

You got lucky you obese disgusting pig and you in noway helped create the resources under the ground of which you are exploting for material wealth.

Your kids hate you and now the majority of society hates you so why don't you just rub greese all over yourself then roll around in hundred bills on your bed.

You will never truly be happy with all your billions and that is your punishment..

I would not trade my situation to be like her. Look at her ugly physically and has a crappy personality thanks but no thanks. Please tell me exactly what this woman did to make her the woman she is so i can go out of my way to avoid it.

If that is her, she shouldn't be telling anyone to cut back on anything. If she thinks we spend too much money on smoke/beer; Well I just think she spends too much money on food and clothes. So ha, silly 'roo, tricks are for kids.

Indeed, it would be interesting to speculate how successful Gina Rinehart would have been finding her first job if she hadn't had a billionaire father and hadn't subsequently ridden the wave of China buying up Australian minerals.

not to mention she is now planning to steal her children's inheritance (which was left for them at her father's request)

Gina’s father, Lang Hancock, created a trust for his four grandchildren prior to his departure from this world in 1992 and left the trust in the children’s names. This breaking news story has come to light after an Australian court lifted the gag order which resulted in the release of court documents pertaining to the family’s financial feud. This comes after Rinehart’s attempts to suppress the story were rejected. The suit filed by the children alleges that Gina Rinehart warned her children that they would be liable to pay $142 million in capital gains tax, which would bankrupt them, unless they appointed her trustee. She then allocated less than one business day for the children to make their final decision regarding the matter. After which point Rinehart threatened “not to act in the best interests of the beneficiaries unless the beneficiaries signed a deed that contained such terms.” Eventually, the children signed an agreement which extended their mother’s control of the trust until the year 2068. At which point, Gina Rinehart would be 114 years old and the youngest of the three children involved in the lawsuit would be 83.

Rineheart wouldn't have seen a hard days work in her life. And after seeing her face the papers, my weekly beer and ciggy budget wouldn't come close to what she spends at a buffet in a single day.

And sadly this is how the world works. Rothschilds, Rockerfellers, Murdochs, Packers, It goes to show it's not what you know it's who you know.

These people should not be allowed to breed.

Meh, she can take her whole "I'm better than you and know whats better for you than you do cuz I have more money than you" crap and stuff it.

I'd much rather go on just being me and being poor, rather than being her with all her money. Why? Because although I may not be rich in a monetary sense, I am rich in my family, friends and the love in my life. I would guess, from her remarks, that she probably isn't a very happy woman. Happy women don't generally feel the need to put down everyone else on the planet and try to make them feel like crap about themselves. On top of that, when you are that rich, I would imagine that you are always left wondering if your "friends and family" really give a hoot about you or if they are just hanging around to collect your crumbs.

And for all of her money, she seems to be a very unhappy and extremely ugly individual, both inside and out. I will stick with love, happiness and beauty and she can keep her money.

In the end, it can't buy you happiness or love...

I almost pity her.

Really since I don't put much credibility in what she has to say! Since I lost two businesses (That made $3 million a year each for 13 years and lost parts of two properties to Department Of Transportation) which were located 30 miles apart. We worked 18 hours a day, seven days a week providing services to our customers. The stores were so good we did not require advertising in print or internet: All by word of mouth in four U.S. states.

Greed and political favors got us (about twenty five businesses)taken out by Eminent Domain. In the end the Justice system and FBI stepped in and put the county commissioners on trial for inappropriate behavior. Eminent Domain is an unseen monstrous beast and when it raises its head the everyday property owner has no defense. You wonder how the U.S.A. can obtain your weapons: Someone will report you having drugs in your house or business property:
Law enforcement gets a warrant, searches your property and finds drugs (placed by the law) on your property.
They haul you off and make a big deal about it and confiscate your property. Eminent Domain can be declared for anything now: New Hotel (promotes economic development), new highway replacing current highway, utilities, water resource (new lake or dam for water supply). People who want to be in business need less regulation and the oppportunity to get away from alot of red tape (permits and paperwork)which makes more government jobs and oversite. So all these outsiders that think Americans are lazy and drunk: Need to bring their business to the U.S. and offer Americans a job.

You know what, I am gonna say some things that are might make some people very angry, just as a warning. But I believe that healthy food is quite a bit more expensive for an average person compared to stuff you have to buy when your on a budget. Even food they feed kids in public schools are garbage half the time. The only alternative at most restaurants (that a lower middle class person can afford to eat at, especially at eat with their whole family) to most high fat high trans fat high cholesterol crap is a salad, which is NOT a well balanced meal most of the time. 90 percent of food everywhere for a lower middle class person is garbage. So I would think that for someone like this, especially if they have a genetic predisposition to being over weight, it would be dang near impossible not to be over weight. But this lady has NO excuse, she could pay for the healthiest food on the planet everyday, the BEST dietician's on earth, and she still looks like she eats at mcdonalds for breakfast lunch and dinner? WTH?

I've stated this before but the whole "it's expensive to eat healthy" is GARBAGE. I spend $1.30 on a tall tube of rolled oats that I prepare with honey and raisins each morning. This is cheaper than eating Frosted Flakes or any of that other junk so many children call breakfast. I can buy bananas for $.39 a lb. For three weeks of the summer much of our country is covered in absolutely free blackberries, raspberries, chokecherries, blueberries, huckleberries. It costs nothing to make compost of your food waste to fertilize a garden (tomatoes grow like weeds around here). Free salads of dandelion, plantain, thistle, nettle for quite a good bit of the summer. I bought a 1lb chicken breast already spiced for $2.00 at the grocery and grilled it, ate half with some rice and beans for dinner then the other half for lunch the next day.

I'm happier when I work. I get exercise. It brightens my mood. I get money in my pocket to spend. Sure, it's hard to get going, but that's about 10% of the effort. If you can get past the first few bumps then the rest is spent getting it done and enjoying the health and psychological benefits.

I've only ever known work to be a good thing until it gets excessive. I can handle 8 hours, 5 days a week. But if I had to do 40 hours/week fishing in alaska, maybe not. And if I had to do 50 or 60 hour weeks, maybe not. But generally I can work and it's better than no work.

Now... studies have shown that when you make more than about $75,000, you're not happier. So money can only buy about $75,000 worth of happiness.

See this link for a reference to the study: - Do We Need $75,000 a Year to Be Happy?...

My honesty tells me that rich people are addicted to money and the thrill of climbing the ladder.

Additionally, Americans work more than any other industrialized nation. In fact, we've been working more and more over the past 40 some years, not less. I recall reading about this and being stunned because I thought we were getting lazier. While it's true that work hours have come down in general for all nations over the past 150 years, what's less well known is that work hours for the average american over the past 50 years have gone up. Yet, we're getting fatter? How? Well, obesity tends to correlate with low income. So perhaps our country is getting poorer while working more?

Lastly, there's this: - Upper-class people less empathetic than lower-class people: study...
