A Really Sad Picture That I Saw Today, Left Me Speechless

I say Ron Paul had no business running as a Repbulican. As a Libertarian, he should have ran as a Democrat, or at least gave liberal Americans a voice and formed a third Party. I guess that about 30% of Americans are right-wing conservatives. The other 70% are left-winged Americans who have no representation. In the two Party state the Democratic Party (progressive-conservatives) are their only option. The right, moved even further to the right by the T-Party, has representation. The Left in American have only the moderate conservatives of the Democratic Party. The Right don't consider the Left true Americans. The Left wish to protect America from the fanatics on the Right. There are two America's. Two solitudes, as we say here in Canada. In Canada it's English and French. In America it's conservatives and Human Beings.

Awen24 Your Post is so SPOT-ON! I couldn't have said it better! I agree 100% with your thoughts on the state of affairs within this once great country and our attitude of 'life'.
Most is that people don't want to realize they have been duped, and that they are living a lie perpetuated by TPTB. They are happy to be where they are, mostly, because they think they put themselves there, rather than that they have been led there...... Later, Syx.

Well I don't know about the 30 70 split. First of all, I don't even know why I'm talking to you.

Sure there are two Americas. What did you expect.

The right's moving farther right, and the left still ain't got no balls. So Ron Paul should have started a third party. Well I think a third party is pretty inevitable. but Paul ain't it. Why? Too old, too reasonable, and reckless. His simplicity just ain't going to cut it.

That third party is coming. It will probably be called the Moderates, and be made up of old line Republicans and moderate Democrats.

Paul wants to Audit the fed, take back the money, kill off government, and expect that everyone is going to lead a reasonable and tolerant life.That's what happens with age, you start living in a fantasy world.

I'm not saying Ron Paul's ideas are bad, just not ready for prime time. Can't right away go the Presidential race with this type thing. No for this you got to start small, at your local level Reform the system from the bottom. Conservative wealth is already doing this in local elections. They know this is where you start to own the system
Can't we as citizens do the same.

This could be a fun project for us. Meet and listen to the most local of people who want to hold elected office. and vote for the one you believe in. It's hard work, but the hardest work is opening your minds, and to think for your self about yourself.

Actually, that's not even slightly sad, because the wars and economic hardship will continue no matter who is elected. If anything is sad, it's that this image is just another political lie, propaganda that can't even be effective now.

Everyone has an answer to our current problems, and we all have scapegoats. And none of us knows what we're taking about, because the system we're trying to control is beyond our ability to understand it.

The problems we face are complex. The solutions required are also complex. There is no quick fix. There is no savior we can elect to make it all better. However we get out of this mess - if we ever do - it's going to take hard work, and many years of it. We haven't even begun to slow the process down yet, much less reverse it.

We really need to stop blaming the Republicans or the Democrats or the Communists or the Muslims or the Jews or the Gays or whoever for our problems. We've all helped to dig ourselves into this hole. We're never going to get out of it if we sit around pointing our fingers at each other playing the blame game.

We're like people in a car headed over a cliff, arguing about whose fault it is that we're in trouble. It's really not going to help.

What he said is true. War is not the solution .

That picture pretty much sums up my feelings and worries with America right now. But if economic collapse happens in America then the rest of the world will shortly fallow along.

The problem with the democratic party, (I've been voting since JFK) is that over they years, they allowed Leninists to coopt the party. It's very clear, and I have watched it occur. I'm just too old and tired to fight those who deny it anymore. It is what it is, and all I can do is prepare my grown grand children for the inevitable, if Obama wins again.

So much about the people, so much about partisanship and basic common sense & humanity

In the back of my mind I'm still a little happy because many people woke up and the young may grow up to follow freedom & basic common sense.

But the snapshot of today's intelligence and leadership is just so low
When I say leadership I really mean individualism, I mean people who will decide on their own which direction to take rather than follow the herd.

Unfortunately, Ron Paul may be RIGHT ! There is so much on the horizon, the days and weeks ahead, that we might have just missed our chance to change things for the better. It is very possible that we are going to be going to war again, and this time, internally over Obama's failed policies and attempted coup of the US Government, turning it into a SOCIALIST - COMMUNIST REGIME instead of keeping it a FREE REPUBLIC. That remains to be seen, but the outlook does not look good. We've squandered away things and sold our monitary system over to the Chinese and others. We are in DEEP DOO DOO folks.

No joke. I saw a post online today that said that Ron Paul actually won, but they excluded 3 counties and it swung it over to Romney.

Also saw 2016 yesterday, NOBODY should miss this - it is a real eye opener, although it does not tell you how to think, it just presents an angle that slowly awakens you. I don't feel that the narrator/writer of the movie has all the inside info on things, but he does make his case.

Sad poster I am all for Ron Paul, but honestly the man wouldn't have been able to do it himself. The corruption lies in the hands of too many men with power.

I really thought this guy was going to 'save the world'. A lot of the world problems are coming from America at the moment. The constants wars, drone striking without trial, financial collapse. You've doubled your debt with 2 presidents, from 8 trillion before bush then 17 with Obama. People know something isn't right.

Ron Paul sounded like he had more common sense than i've seen in a 'leader' for a long while. Even when contested with quite good or quirky questions he responded excellent. I wish I could vote for him, but i'm not American.

Unfortunately it seems the cycle is about to continue with the lies and corruptions and wars.
