Well take a look at this. Maybe this will shed some light on the subject.

But for minority speakers, here’s a handy guide to how the rival networks broke down coverage:

Mia Love: MNSBC was in commercial; Fox aired Shepard Smith‘s coverage of Hurricane Isaac from New Orleans.

Brian Sandoval: MSNBC aired hurricane coverage; Fox’s Sean Hannity interviewed Rep. Eric Cantor.

Ted Cruz: MSNBC cut to panel analysis of the convention; Fox went to commercial and returned with a Scott Walker interview.

Artur Davis: MSNBC aired panel discussion, mentioned his speech 5 minutes in, but didn’t air it; Fox aired the entirety of the speech.

Nikki Haley: both MSNBC and Fox News aired the speech.

Lucé Vela Fortuño: MSNBC aired more roundtable discussion; Fox News cut away to discussion by Bret Baier and Megyn Kelly.

So with the exception of former Rep. Davis, MSNBC did not omit any speeches that Fox News did not also omit.

So I did miss the Artur speech on Fox, but this looks as though this may be a mass campaign to demonize MSNBC for things that Fox did as well.

I'm not sure how things are going in other parts of the country but here in Milwaukee, white people are not a clear majority. Hopefully soon we can ditch these demeaning terms like minority - people are people, can we stop trying to diminish the significance of any one group? All humans have the same capacity for good or evil.

Lol, and those who identify with republicans are any better? Both parties are loathsome and shameless, if you buy into either of them you're an idiot. The RNC and DNC are both commercialized displays of hypernationalist delusion.

On CNN this morning a female reporter was interviewing two black Romney supporters and said to them "Why does Romney have zero black support?" What about the two supporters right in front of her face????
Come on....!! That is shameful.

Did they realize they were being insulted right to their faces or did they let it slide?

The man pointed it out to the reporter that it clearly couldn't be zero support with them standing right there but then was gracious enough to let it go. If I were either of them I would have been pissed.

there are and were many presidents, civil leaders etc, but few of them worthy of assassination because they were a threat to the powers that be, that we should take note, follow their course and finish what they have started;

abraham lincoln
martin luther king
malcom x
john f kennedy

they must have been on the right path

the current crop aren't even worth your vote, let alone energy and concern.

Try to contain your butt hurt a little better. It's about the RNC, Democrats AND their propaganda media. Its a Democrat party/MSM narrative that requires them to cover up the contradictions to their lies.

What are you talking about??

Why are you so confused? Are you playing dumb? The media ignored minority speakers based on their skin color. They did it to advance a Democrat party/MSM narrative (Republicans are RASIS!). One that you see being repeated right here in this thread.

Are you saying that is why FOX also did it? The only one who covered it entirely was PBS.

This thread is blatant B.S. anyone can see that.

I believe the point was that the NEWS took out the minority speakers. There WERE minority speakers. The party IS becoming more diverse. But when you have the NEWS reporting GIMPING you, it's hard for folks to see the truth when it is being overlooked by MEDIA who is deciding what we see through media reporting. I don't think this was a gripe about the convention itself. The convention DID have minority speakers. It was MSNBC who decided to omit them. Not the RNC.

Who really cares?

The only reason why so many minorities are speaking is because the GOP wants to make it seem like Black people are against Obama too. They are painfully tokennnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn.

It's like when Fox wants to talk about black people or urban issues, then they bring one of their tokens on to discuss it.

And of course black republicans exist, I'm not saying they don't.

why how very tolerance of you RealSpoke.
basically anyone who is black and republican has to be a token black man of the "man"

All I had to do was look at who wrote it. Article is garbage.

Matt Vespa View Track About Me Profile Matt Vespa is a Media Research Center News Analysis division intern. Prior to that, he was the Executive Director for the Dauphin County Republican Committee in Harrisburg. He has interned with various political organziations, including the Pennsylvania Republican Party last summer where he participated in a massive five day GOTV effort for Republican Bob Turner in the NY-9 special election. So what other garbage does the Governor of NJ have to say through his mouth piece? Tell you the truth I don't care because it will still be garbage not worth reading.

I think you have failed to read in the previous posts before yours where it has been stated 3 maybe 4 times that it was all news stations omitted this not just msn but all news stations EXCEPT PBS. Please explain the bias in that.

The information to deny this piece of ignorance has already been given just two posts above yours I posted this information 2 hours before you posted.

Your argument does not hold water. This thread is not worth the digital space it takes up.

And I am not a Democrat. Piece of ignorance refers to this thread.

You can argue over the reason why until every tuns blue, but the fact remains that the Republican party lacks diversity.

This is very easy to explain. Republicans believe in extreme capitalism, which is a form of economic warfare, euphemistically called "competition". But, in this competition, all techniques that enable you to separate from the rest, and to keep the rest down, so that you can elevate yourself to greater heights, are valued. If you are Green, you employ methods to keep all Blue people back, because that helps your "competitive" position. So, by it's very nature, diversity is not optimal for the Republican Party, it works against the underlying philosophy and principles in which they believe. This will always be the case. And it really doesn't matter whether Green men or Blue men make up the Republican Party, they could very well switch in the future, it's the philosophy that discourages diversity, so either one or the other will always dominate there.
