Hold on.....I can't stop laughing!!!!

Trying to catch breath......

What astonishing class you exhibit.

Whether you agree with her stance or not, she acted with incredible bravery in defense of something she believed in.

Since that is one of the two possible reasons I gave I was right, so to you I say no

My bad I forgot the kids were building rockets under the kitchen table out of rubber bands and snot. Who would have thought MacGyver went to teach in Palestine.

I don't know much about this case, just what I've read on these post and such but I don't see why people are so quick to blame the driver and Israel for this I mean sure there's a lot of things that 'could have' happened. My way of seeing it is that if they did an investigation on this then that's that. Protesters tend to put themselves in dangerous places (the guy in china who stood in front of a tank? maybe she wanted to be remembered in pictures too)

Anyway I was walking the other day from work with thinking about a few things listening to music and i couldn't hear a train coming like 12 feet away from me soooo
(but i live in a bubble so that's just me xD)

You know people make mistakes and i don't like talking about 'possible' scenarios if you're gonna say the driver "should have" then its equally as possible that he "didn't"

What are you talking about? I was talking about Israel increasing its borders.

The article says it. She put herself in that situation and paid the price. Oh well.

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

Israel found Israel innocent?

WOW NEVER SEE THAT HAPPEN. I'M SHOCKED.

I don't get the mentality of some of the posters here. She stood in front of a bulldozer so that makes her possible murder justified? Because she did something stupid?

So he knew she was in the area, or protestors were at least...it was unsafe to continue so he should have stopped. I'm not going to risk killing people over a paycheck.....not gonna happen.

So Rachel knew the bulldozer was operating in the area, it was unsafe to be there, so she should have left.

You know, when South Africa had apartheid, the whole world driven by the UN/IMF/Media marriage-made-in-hell all got together and destroyed the country, look at the garbage that runs it now, look at how screwed up SA has become. Israel has had the same form of apartheid laws as South Africa for more than 50 years, but no government seems to care. Seems like a double standard to me.

Since apartheid is a recognized and seriously publicized crime against humanity (that being the willful genocide or destruction of a race of people, reductions in human rights, etc., in most cases with both malice and prejudice) and Israel is an apartheid state and someone dying during the commission of a crime results in a charge of murder, why shouldn't the operator and/or his superiors be charged with murder. She died during the commission of a crime involving an apartheid state.

One rule fits all or the system fails. Israel is just another welfare country with a holier-than-thou attitude that suckles at the tit of the world's taxpayers, especially North American taxpayers. And that's not antisemitic, it's simple truth, Israel gets billions from North America every year is "support" payments. What is that support for, more genocide, more criminal activity, more local colonialism?

Cheers - Dave

So if you are driving down the road at 80kph and somebody jumps in front of you and are killed, you go straight to prison.... care to show us all this law?

For a start i should not be going 80 kph were there are people walking, it in the eu hgv drivers rules and regulations..
As a hgv driver as soon as you put your taco-graph in to the vehicle you are responsible for everything to do with that vehicle , as a driver you have to be reading the road and pedestrians all the time so if somebody does run out in front of you then you was not paying attention..

.
Why not? If it's an 80km road why not go 80km?
I see plenty of 80km roads here with bike lanes and
pedestrian lanes next to it, divided by a bit of grass.
Has nothing to do with EU regulations.

If someone does cross the street I'm going over with
80km without paying attention to the traffic, it's going
to be a very unfortunate event, but still an accident.

The US activist Rachel Corrie, whose death beneath an Israeli military bulldozer made her an international symbol of Palestinian resistance, bore sole responsibility for the incident that killed her, a court in Israel ruled.

For many people it was sad to hear this news.

for me , It is as sad as any other news from Palestine.

But in the end , it is bringing hope to my heart when I see some people from US care about their felow human beings in Palestine.

For this woman , it was as important as she packed her bags , went to Palestine to see the truth with her own eyes. Very human and free.

peace.

I use to drive a D9 bulldozer, and it would be impossible for the driver to run over Rachel Corrie going forward unless he picked his blade up.

His job is to push things out of the way, so he should have pushed her out of the way.

To run over her going forward he must have picked his blade up! thats murder.

That's in America and other civilized countries. In Israel only Jews have rights others are sub human so they have no rights.

Don't people read anymore?

He didn't run over her and she wasn't killed by the blade.
