If everyone spends their life tearing down people they are jealous of or whatever, we will end up no where. It is very hard to live in a society where no one wants anyone else to progress.

The article you posted also has a video that says that Brevik is currently in solitary confinement. Chances are he wont leave there soon. That was barely covered in the video. They chose to focus on something else instead...

They show shots of a facility that is used for low risk, rehabilitated offenders stating that Brevik may end up there eventually. This seems to be a wash for swaying the American publics opinion.

How much do you want to bet this story was dropped off by the prison lobby in the US? They are simply showing a low risk facility meant to house prisoners who will be released eventually/soon, who do not pose the same risk, but yet they say show Brevik to imply that he's going to be shipped there soon.

This is shoddy reporting, biased and does not even get close to reality.

I don't think society should be trying to speed up the process for people that lost it. This guy comes from a crappy prison. All it seemed to do is empower him...

I disagree with this thread. That is a very sparsely decorated, tiny type of appartment prison. ALL prisoners should have the decency of this. Freedom is taken. This is like a student's bachelor pad.

Treating prisoner's barbarically reflects on the souls of anyone who supports that.

Where he will spend his time, has just enough spartan beauty, to keep him being nudged in a positive way, that one day he may answer inside his heart to is own Spirit.

I don't know what you wish on prisoners, something barbaric????

Norway has one of the best systems in the world and while some in that country may be far more judgmental, as a whole they are a slightly different grade of people, and are more concerned with reformation, healing, along with protecting society, this PTB tool is very dangerous.

Norwegian Prison

There is No Reason for anyone on this planet, save for the deliberate Greed and Policies of the Elite, for anyone to not be living like this.

To me, every other way of doing this is illegal, fascism, inequaity, slavery and crimes against humanity. Norway is the closest in a monied world of actually living by the basic common laws of Not Harming and the Virtues.

I consider most of the world, hellzone primitive in how it treats it's citizens, in how it elects people and allows the most corrupt villians to run the world, (and I don't care if trillion foot negatives are behind them I would never ever even once give into any galactic presence of a negative trying to boss me around. I'd send them to the corner)

Here is what a decent country does with its prisoners, (at least on earth, there are better methods, for I would have beautiful healing gardens equipped with counselors to take them through the aspects of their lives where they harmed, and especially where they were harmed, to heal them): Norway.

Oh did you know, Christ said to visit prisoners, (the sick, the needy and those in prison), ie. to have compassion. To be a True Family.

To have better leaders elected, work for a better system that is equal, have land and food and clean energy for all, respect sovereign infinite rights, caretake mother earth, and really care for one another and help each other out. And for anyone who as Twisted out (or like this guy, worked like a M Kultra on a bad assignment) cloisture around them and heal them.

Viva La Norway. Its the country I wish I lived in and the only one that has a form of democracy that ensures all votes count, that there is no dicatorial Winner Take All, stands up for its constitutional equality, ie. the social programs everyone assumes is a result of a socialist government remain in place no matter who is elected because it is Substantive Equality, and basically programs to equalize women and men. So its not socialism its EQUALITY.

And they have a higher standard of living after all their taxes, and necessities like housing, food and utilities are controlled prices. So they have more money to spend on local businesses, and support the grass roots economy of crafters, etc.

Win/win for everyone, and just plain common sense.

And they don't mistreat prisoners. There is more chance of reformation of heart and soul in this system than any other.

Unlike Australia's version which is the one we were asked to vote on in BC, which actually reduces the number of parties and women voted in, proportional representation creates more and more grass roots parties, and more chances for women getting elected and means people have to get along, they have to develop UNITY, and not have bizarre, dictatorial, extreme views, but ensure and work for WIN/WIN's.

Out of the current types of governments on earth, their's is the best there is on earth.

I love their health care, education, housing, equality, beauty, decency and even how they deal with their prisoners. I wish every nation would grow up more and care more.

I understand that it might be a hard concept to understand, but it is a cornerstone in the way most of us think about other humans. Good and bad, they are still human.

Norway also has one of the lowest crime rates on the planet, only its not out of absolute fear and terror and not carried out by fascism and cruelty. These are advanced people.

It appears this prison is transitional, easing the period between doing time and release and to me its one advanced idea in itself.

I was trying to research what the difference was for women prisoners and male.

Also, I did find out what our premier was trying to get our province to vote on, which is a type of proportional democracy like Australia's, which was Transferable Vote, and that form is the most like winner take all grafted into proportional system.

Overall, with the kind Norway has, no vote is wasted, the majority turn out to vote, more parties are formed, larger numbers of women are elected and coalitions are the usual result and this means more cooperation is needed.

I think I'm beginning to understand politics. When someone wrote that the Government is You, and everyone said, no way. Now I see that to some extent it may be true. Some people are retaliatory and despise the poor, as well, even when its not their fault and there are no opportunities, then they despise weakness, of any kind.

I don't even believe in prison for anyone that is not a serial rapist or murderer by the way.

I hate to say this. But I read something very troubling in a book this summer. In some prisons they've found inmates dead due to rape. They suspect the person died after getting raped by perhaps as many as 50 other inmates one after another. I have no clue if thats' true or not but if it is then must be pretty brutle what goes on in there.

im sorry but you are reading way too many fiction books.. the possibility of a person getting raped by 50 inmates without the guards knowing indicate that it is done with the tacit approval from the guards..

and i think the possibility of rape is almost impossible since they separate male and female inmates incarceration..
