"Nazi style"

Again, you lose.

Also there should be another Law, the Holocaust law, every time you bring up the holocaust in a discussion that has absolutely nothing to do with it, you lose.

Therefore, you lose twice with one post.

Good job!

Look up "Godwins Law".

Hmmm...let's see.

Iran is notorious for Holocaust denial and makes sure everyone know about it. -- Zionist Israel overly embellishes the Holocaust to gain international support, while perpetrating the same terror upon another group of people, until this very day.

Iran is calling for the destruction of Israel. -- I see Iran calling for the dismantling of the Zionist Regime, as Israel has been calling for the destruction of Iran for... wait for it...Decades.

Iran is sponsoring Terrorists groups who call for Genocide of Jews. -- Israel is sponsoring Terrorist organizations whose goal is to kill Iranians and even Americans, in some cases.

Iran and its sponsored terrorist groups use a Nazi salute and symbols. -- starting to grasp at straws.....

Iran is spreading Anti Antisemitism – Nazi style – demonizing Jews. 'The Protocols of the elders of Zion' is one of their best sellers. -- And Israel / the west haven't been condemning the Middle East for, again, decades? Spreading islamaphobia, etc.

_____________________________________________________________________________________
Your arguments go both ways, friend, try not to be biased and look at the subject a bit more objectively

Both countries are to blame, they should be left to themselves, it is not our business. If we want to get involved, it should be to end the dispute peacefully. I.E. Give back the Palestinians part of their land, end the warmongering rhetoric towards Iran and allow them to pursue nuclear capabilities (as Israel has, why can Iran not? Oh, because we foot the bill.)

And finally, I don't understand why anyone takes the OP's threads in regards to any of this, seriously.

And of course that means Iran are like the Nazis??? Do the pro-Israel people have any arguments that don't involve the holocaust???

If the shoe fits, wear it. Ofcourse that fits all people who choose to commit genocide instead of coexisting. We're all humans here and no one is innocent. Something has to change or humanity will drive itself to extinction.

That is a fallacious argument based upon historical ignorance.

You'd be surprised how many people either do not know the history of that region or willingly choose to ignore it.

1. It is indeed SICKENING to hear the LEADERS of nation calling for the EXTERMINATION of another nation and People, and EVERY person who is associated by that nation elsewhere in the world.

It is one thing for mere common man utter those words, but quite another for LEADERS to talk such trash, for they influence their own nations as a whole, and worse if they are also deluded and heretical 'SUPREME SPIRITUAL LEADER' of the nation.

At least Hitler kept his hedious slaughter of an ethnic group to only within Germany. But TODAY, those animals masquerading as humans had made such calls, over the past years, and had seen deaths of that ethnic group on a regular basis, around the world.

If this is not the MOST OUTRAGEOUS HATEFUL RHETORIC OF ALL TIME, I don't know what else is.

2. Let all mankind NOT be fooled by the rhetoric comming from Persian Leaders and their paid humanslaying terrorists plotting and creating terror in our world.

They are only attempting to deflect attention upon themselves, for they are only a Shia minority sect in the majority Sunni world, with ancient feuds for religious supremacy lasting even today.

By denouncing the jews, the persian apostate leader hopes that the Sunnis worldwide would focus on the jews, kill the jews, instead of resuming its ancient feud between Shiaism and Sunnism, while it quietly builds up its nuclear armaments.

When it has nuke weapons, just like baby Kim of N.Korean, he will be able to hold the world and Sunni muslims hostage to their demands, in their quest for religion supremacy.

Create some friction in muslims states between shias and sunnis, and then when the sunnis retaliate, he comes in with his nuke to threaten destruction upon those states, whom will back off, and in time, Shias will be more than Sunnis in our world.

That persian apostate leader is a crafty beast and speaks with forked tongue. Time again and again, his words hold no meanings and proven no matter what comes out of his mouth, it is mere hot air, more so if he speaks of peace and goodwill. It does not exist in his infidel heart.

3. Regardless if Shia, Sunni, Christian, Jews, etc, even atheists, we do share common goals in life on this planet, for we are all ONE race, despite our differences. There is no need to set one group upon another to protect oneself, the way that persian apostate infidel leader had done and resulted in only worse consequences for ALL when the awful truth is realized.

The path to peace, if not harmony, lays in mutual tolerance and finding common groups to co-exist with each other. This is something that TRUE muslims can best lead the way, for in their religion, as it was intended to be before being corrupted by ignorant men, there are no more prophets or messengers sent or heirachy in Islam, but consensual decision taken by society and not by one or a few cronies.

Only civilisational guides remained, to be improved upon as mankind progresses and evolved, from the normadic days under Prophet Muhammad, to today's mankind giant technological leap into the our destiny - the stars.

Thanks for pointing that out!

To everyone reading the thread....on the subject of the Jewish population in Iran:

Excerpted from: What Iran’s Jews Say by Roger Cohen.

Still a mystery hovers over Iran’s Jews. It’s important to decide what’s more significant: the annihilationist anti-Israel ranting, the Holocaust denial and other Iranian provocations — or the fact of a Jewish community living, working and worshipping in relative tranquillity.

Perhaps I have a bias toward facts over words, but I say the reality of Iranian civility toward Jews tells us more about Iran — its sophistication and culture — than all the inflammatory rhetoric.

That may be because I’m a Jew and have seldom been treated with such consistent warmth as in Iran. Or perhaps I was impressed that the fury over Gaza, trumpeted on posters and Iranian TV, never spilled over into insults or violence toward Jews. Or perhaps it’s because I’m convinced the “Mad Mullah” caricature of Iran and likening of any compromise with it to Munich 1938 — a position popular in some American Jewish circles — is misleading and dangerous.

(...)

Double standards don’t work anymore; the Middle East has become too sophisticated. One way to look at Iran’s scurrilous anti-Israel tirades is as a provocation to focus people on Israel’s bomb, its 41-year occupation of the West Bank, its Hamas denial, its repetitive use of overwhelming force. Iranian language can be vile, but any Middle East peace — and engagement with Tehran — will have to take account of these points.

Please read the whole article for context.

It is binary, or false dichotomy..

Or as Crosby, Stills and Nash used to sing...Nobody is right if everybody is wrong.

Calling Israel out on their oppression of Palestinians is not the same as endorsing Hamas unconditionally.

I think many people have issue with the United States unconditional support of Israel, despite their continued oppression of the Palestinians and ceaseless expansion into the West Bank.

I have no doubt that there are dangerous zealots amongst Hamas, just as there are in the Israeli government.

Must we unconditionally choose a side??? Or can we recognize murder, oppression and theft regardless of nationality? And issue condemenations without bias or prejudice?

I agree with your sentiment. Only thing I would caution is to not cast the Iranian people as a whole with this stain. The regime is the issue not necessarily the entire population.

That being said, if I was Israel I wouldn't be thrilled about that "nuclear" program...

Would you be thrilled about the prospect of a full-out war? In your own backyard?

Polls: Israelis fear unilateral strike more than Iranian bomb

You bore me with your hateful rhetoric. You are just like the people you denounce in the video. The only difference is this: They have the courage to state how they feel openly. You, poorly I might add, use subterfuge, appeals to one-sided morality, appeals to emotion, and banal calls for civil rights to spout your beliefs. I am not fooled.

About halfway down the first page on this thread an example was posted of a Rabbi calling for the complete destruction of Iran. Apparently, the side you root for is just as "hateful" as the side you deplore.

In regards to your comments about Hamas: The way in which they do battle with their enemies is called Asymmetric War. They fight the way they do because they have to. You seem to be far more concerned with how they fight their war instead of being concerned with why they fight their war.

Where is my outrage regarding the lack of civil rights in the Middle East? I am not outraged. What outrages me is how you would like to force the people of that region to live by your standards. Forcing people to conform to what you want is called terrorism. See how easy it is to throw that label around?

I don't see any logic in argument. I see a biased point of view.

Then lets just light this candle shall we? Is that what you want? Armageddon? Because thats what the PTB are trying to do and you are falling for it hook, line and sinker. In the words of the late, great Rodney King, "can't we all just get along"?

Dude, you are so far off base….

The OP was an attempt at debating the rationale between different ideologies not advocating war.

Please explain the justification for murdering an innocent woman or child……

There is never a justification to kill anybody. The only ideology indicated is that of the psychopaths that are in charge of the two states you are concerned about. The U.S. government kills innocent men, women and children all the time in its trumped up wars of corporate imperialism. Lets just stop ALL the violence and ALL the killing. I think this is still the misquoted reverberation of Ahmadinejad saying Israel would collapse or 'vanish' over time, rather than the misquote reported by western media, 'Israel must/will be wiped off the map.' Every time Israel beats the war drums and cries victim I think of the USS Liberty.

www.washingtonpost.com... ml

The Facts

The firestorm started when Nazila Fathi, then the Tehran correspondent of The New York Times, reported a story almost six years ago that was headlined: “Wipe Israel ‘off the map’ Iranian says.” The article attributed newly elected Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s remarks to a report by the ISNA press agency.

The article sparked outrage around the globe, with then-President George W. Bush and other world leaders condemning Ahmadinejad’s statement. The original New York Times article noted that Ahmadinejad said he was quoting Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, the leader of the Islamic revolution, but that aspect was largely overlooked.

Then, specialists such as Juan Cole of the University of Michigan and Arash Norouzi of the Mossadegh Project pointed out that the original statement in Persian did not say that Israel should be wiped from the map, but instead that it would collapse.

Cole said this week that in the 1980s Khomeini gave a speech in which he said in Persian “Een rezhim-i eshghalgar-i Quds bayad az sahneh-i ruzgar mahv shaved.” This means, “This occupation regime over Jerusalem must vanish from the arena of time.” But then anonymous wire service translators rendered Khomeini as saying that Israel “must be wiped off the face of the map,” which Cole and Nourouzi say is inaccurate.

I wouldn't give much weight to what this guy is talking about, his speech sounds very political and in line with the general propaganda waged by both Hamas and Israel etc...

Oh by all means, I would love it if the west would leave the Middle East alone. Completely and utterly, no trade, no immigration - nothing.

You would fail if you ever decided to take a course on political science.

Think hard: what would be the immediate consequence of Iran's killing its 23,000 Jews?? International condemnation? Sanctions? Worst of all - they would lose all CREDIBILITY!!!

What you're arguing is the proof and logic of the laymen - not the astute political thinker. If Iran has a bone to pick with Israel and Jews - which they do - why discredit yourself by going after the tiny Jewish community in your backyard - when treating them nicely accredits you support from morons such as yourself - when you can go after the very state of the Jews - 6 million of them, in a land which for the last thousand years or so has been Waqf - Islamic property, and take them out.

The Jews of Iran are and will be in a precarious state; when the time comes - they're over with.

A little study of history will supply you with a plethora of examples. Timing is everything.

Although I do not care about what anyone is saying in this thread, because no one will listen to the other. Be it from one side or both sides.

I am posting to say that the subtitle is spot on. Nothing is wrong with it. I speak Arabic just fine because well, I live in Kuwait

Also, to the guy that said Arabs and Muslims hate Jews and Jews hate Arabs and Muslims, I really do not hate them. The best Math teacher I had was an Egyptian Jewish. They are awesome people like you and me. I, however, hate Zionist to the bone. They are as much Jewish as Taliban is Islamic. Even Jews share my hate for them.

Everyone please set back, forget who you are, what you stand for and what you speak and start looking at FACTS.
WE ARE HUMANS! Everyone is. Just read those amazing stories from Cracked today. Not everyone hates the other, the world is a good place. Some people ruin it.
