If You Can't Feel It - then wake up!!

Seriously guys, with the current state of events going on in our world and more natural disasters and "curious happenings" then ever before, it is extremely hard for me to believe that there are still people out there that refuse to believe that anything out of the ordinary is occurring. Most of us are on ATS because we know that there are many more strange things happening in our time than ever before. Some of us feel that we know exactly what is happening, some of us don't know exactly what it is but we know that there is definately something going on. For many of us, that is the reason that we are on ATS. Then there are some who are the skeptics and debunkers, and then the trolls. For me, it is hard to understand why the trolls, skeptics and debunkers are here, but then of course they have a right to be here like everyone else. Personally I think the trolls (on either side of the fence) just get off in some sick sadistic way of giving people a hard time. The skeptics and hardcore debunkers I think are most likely either afraid of what is happening and find it easier to come up with reasons that whatever is happening is not happening than to admit to themselves that events are taking place that are out of their control. Some of the debunking that happens here is completely valid and needs to be done, but I truely believe that the majority of the really hardcore debunkers represent an outside entity or organization, most likely paid to do so. To the paid shills, I would just like to say - If you think that you are representing the better good through your work, you are wrong. The PTB do not value you even though you think they do right now. In the end when the SHTF, you are completely disposable to them, especially if you know too much! They value themselves, their families and their fellow elite members. They do not care about you, and in the end they will not protect you and may even eliminate you!

My main point of this is that Something is happening! Open your eyes and your mind! For just one second, turn off all the noise and interference in your life and actually listen to your intuition! Most of us can feel this already,,,,,,whatever "it" is IS coming! You can insult us and ridicule us and try to debunk everything that has ever been said on ATS, but that doesn't change reality! What is "it"? I don't know, I guess everyone has to decide that for themselves. Do I believe that the world is going to end on 12/21/2012? No! No I don't, but I believe that we are in for one hell of a ride! It is coming, I can feel it, many many many people feel it! Call it intuition or premonition or awareness, or whatever you want. You can call it fearmongering, or doomporn or stupidity.....I don't really care. Honestly, I don't give a crap what you think of me or anyone else. Your ridicule or disapproval DOESN'T CHANGE A THING! What you think about me has absolutely no significance on my life or my decisions whatsoever. I am here to deliver a message that I think needs to be said....end of story! To all those ATS warriors that are fearlessly putting it out there every day, Thank You!! Regardless of whether we agree with everything that is said, it is really nice to be able to read the posts, gain knowledge, be more informed and then decide for ourselves what we do or don't believe. To ATS, thank you for providing a forum where people can share and gain information. I think that a day is coming soon when we won't be able to do that, but for now we can and I am personally grateful for that.

If you don't believe anything strange is happening on this big rock we live on, fine....great....go back to sleep. But for those of us who do....we see strange weather events, more earthquakes and natural disasters than never before, unexplained happenings from ufo's to the paranormal, and more ufo sightings than ever before, corruption at the highest levels of government to a point that I believe we have never seen before, and here in the US and around the world more and more of our freedoms are being taken from us every day. We have a government that appears to be setting things up so that they can enact martial law and house/detain large numbers of people if need be. Many ancient civilizations and ancient writings speak of a time around this time right now that will be a horrible time of destruction and disasters like never seen before, Just to mention a few...the Mayans....the Bible....the Koran....the Hopi indians....the Cherokee Indians...Notradamus and Edgar Cayce. This is a rant and I'm Not fricken providing a source......open the book....google it.....whatever.....and then make up your own mind.

So what is happening and what is going to happen?? I don't know.....but I can tell you that something IS happening. And yes, Many Many MANY of us CAN feel it! Don't underestimate human intuition. Everyone has it but many people have become very good at explaining away those things that they can't explain. So what's my point? My point is this....be aware, don't stick your head back in the sand! Have a plan for what you and your family will do if the SHTF. Have some food and water put away, and some candles or flashlights and a method of protection in case society falls apart in the case of a disaster. Open your eyes and mind enough to at least be able to notice what is going on around you and to stop and consider if you might need to have a game plan. Also, Please Please Please don't post reckless messages on the internet if you have other people in your life who might be affected by the messages that you leave online. DON'T sit there and say that you will shoot the police if they come to your house or try to take your guns or this and that. When you do that you are setting yourself up to become a target, and even if you think that you are willing to sacrifice for your right to say those things....what about those in your life that you care about....how would that affect them?

Above all, think about what happens if the worst happens and you don't survive? Have you provided for those that you will leave behind the best that you can? what happens to you when you leave this life? can all the survivalist skills in the world guarantee you that you will not die? Those are things that we all must consider and find answers to for ourselves, but in this day and age I urge you not to leave them unattended. I wish you all the best, for you and your loved ones. I hope that I and many others are wrong. Either way, it is time to wake up and truely consider some of the things that have been going on lately. If you can do that and just decide that it is due to the rantings of a bunch of crazy people, then great....best of luck....go post what you had for dinner on facebook and then take a nap....whatever. But for me....my eyes are wide open and I am paying attention! And in the words of many of my fellow ATSers......Namaste....Peace.....and Love.

Well said. I had a couple friends over last night and we watched John Carpenter's The Thing (the 80s version starring Kurt Russell). My friends hadn't seen the movie before, and they were greatly confused by this one seen where Kurt Russell's character is giving his theory about what's going on, and half the guys are yelling like he's crazy and asking the others if they buy any of this madness. My friends were confused because they had already seen The Thing attack the dogs and one of the men, they'd seen it assimilate, basically everything. So they asked, why are they acting like Kurt Russell is crazy. I just explained that some people are so afraid to face the reality of the situation that they will do anything to deny it, demonstrate anger, even violence. I think the movie The Matrix did a good job of elucidating this notion.

For what it's worth, and take it or leave it... people have been feeling this way since ancient times. You can find statements very much like this from nearly every ancient civilization imaginable. Even some of the great thinkers spoke of the decay of society, the tyranny of governments, and even the lack of respect in children all being signs of "the end".

In short I think you're just coping with a natural human emotion that comes partially from over thinking and partly from information overload. Ingest enough negative information and it can get to you.

Will humanity burn out soon? It's possible, but I doubt it.

Will something happen to change our paradigms and "wake us up". I doubt that too.

Though both of these things are possible, I do not see them as probabilities. With age I've learned that our apocalypses tend to be small ones... personal ones... And hurt just as much as if the whole world had caved in. I've also learned ( the hard way ) that what we think of as "rock bottom" is usually nowhere near where "rock bottom" really is.

Just some food for thought.

Natural disasters happen... major cataclysms happen... nothing can be done about the future in regards to planetary changes. They come and go and hopefully life will continue to go on

I didn't read your entire OP, because most of my night tonight will consist of reading and I don't want any unnecessary information right now. That said, I read 90% of the OP and skimmed the "fluff". I get where you're coming from, and to be short:

Humanity is at it's lowest point. Believe it or not, that's a fact that I have come to know. I'll explain it in a thread one of these days if time permits.We have a choice.
We either cling to the current system of things and let it continue on from there, or we transform, allowing ourselves to simply see events as they truly occur. We are allowed to strip the limiters off at any time, however, it's up to us to realize that there are limiters and blinders in place.



Before I understood why people were horrible, and extremely selfish, I never worked a day in my life. Well, one summer I sought out to boost my resume, I took a summer job as an intern for a congressman. The hours were set, no pay of course, and I thought everything would go just as "planned." After a few days, I was requested to stay longer hours because of how busy the place would become. I accepted. This became a trend. On days where I was scheduled to work from 8am to 12pm, I would be asked to work until 6pm due to the fact that the other interns would call off or just not "show". This happened on all of my short days, and my long days 8am to 3:30pm were automatically extended until 6pm. It was interesting experience. I ate a meager breakfast in the morning, fully expecting to be home by lunch time, only to realize that the sun would be down before I exited the office. I thought about everything and laughed. It made so much sense. So much sense. People work like this for years on end. Factor lack of sleep, bills, poor eating habits, and internal work place stress triggers and you have yourself human time bombs. Where is the time to simply "be". Are we to look forward to weekends? Pitiful holiday's filled with running around to get "this and that." Where is the time to take a breath, and to relax or participate in proper introspection. Where is the time to learn about one's self, or to even begin to love others. Everything is routine...stressful...and unpleasant. First world problems may not involve the imminent threat of murder or war, but it does involve acute health aggravators that dwindle creativity, psychological health, physical health, relationships, and a sense of proper unity amongst humanity. I get mine, I work hard for it, shove off and leave me alone and don't force me to use my tax dollars to pay for others who don't go through the hell that I do!

Back to the monkeys. Who told you that you were required to "work". Who told you that the life blood of the planet had to be utilized for survival, and it wasn't a problem that "you" would have to deal with. Who told "you" that it was ok to pass of problems to the next generation? Who told you that corporate sharecropping was a respectable way to earn a living and be a complete "American" citizen. Who told you that PSALM 23:2 was not in fact truth...Who told you to give up on those big dreams, and to hand yourself over to the whim's of bosses, banks, and corporate heads. Who told "you" to defend these entities and shun the idea of "unity". Who told you that those "less fortunate" were not "your" problem. Who told "you" that this world was cold and it was only about you and your progeny. Who "told" "you" this? Or...is it just how things work around here? Who was it that told you that "gold" has any value outside of its resistance to corruption and "historical" value. Who told you that "money" was a viable concept. Who?

It's time to make a choice, a conscious decision not to play by the rules of limitation and unnecessary ways of living. Do we enslave ourselves or free ourselves? That's the choice that looms before us at our lowest point. We fall victim to the condition in absolute, or we rise above. It's a choice...a simple, pure choice.

ONE MORE THING:
It's not the government. It's never the government. Just like a car doesn't hit people. Just like guns don't shoot people. The problem is the controller...and when banks, corporations, and money control things...well, I wouldn't expect anything other than disaster to occur. Monied interest and those looking for "tax breaks" are the ones holding the gun, and behind the wheel. Follow the money.

How's your imagination? What perhaps do you think the word "frick" would actually represent in the title of my post? Let me give you a clue...it is a sub word for a four letter word that is sometimes used for emphasis. That wasn't so hard to figure out now was it?

Good point about the movie The Thing. I saw it and I remember that part. It almost sounds like an ats thread....lol. I often see people on here called or it insinuated that they are crazy, stupid, dilussional, paranoid and the list goes on and on.

There are plenty of alternatives you could use. Just trying to help you out for future conversation and discussions. Kind of hard to take someone seriously if they use the word frick in conversation.

The thread itself isnt bad... more of the same but hey the world goes crazy sometimes enjoy the tranquil times while they are still here however sporadic those times may be.

Wow...you are really concerned about this word frick. My mama used to say that if I was going to offer a complaint, I needed to also offer a suggestion. So, you say there are plenty of alternatives that would not only suffice, but would apparently appease your rather touchy sensibilities. Well, what are they?

I understand what you are saying and I respect that. I do not think that humanity will end anytime soon. I think we have a long time to go before that happens. What I do think though is that we are living a world where a lot of turmoil is occurring and at the least we should be able to open our eyes and mind enough to look at the big picture. There is more to life than so many of our materialistic and shallow societies holds dear.

I think I get the jist of what you are saying. You are right. We are controlled by a group of people who only value money and power. I fully realize that most governmet representatives are just puppets. Do you think if there was a civil uprising in the US that our government would shoot us down in the streets like the middle east governments have done to their people? I'd like to think not but something about hollow point bullets ordered by US agencies like NOAA and the Social Security Office keeps popping up.

Human beings all have intuition-some more focused than others. I agree with your thoughts as many bad things are happening more often and with greater frequency.Our planet has been abused far too long-maybe she is ready to fight back?

Most people do sleepwalk through life. The conspiracy,NWO, or whatever they want to call it, began on September 11, 2012. Most people just don't want to accept it. I tend to think that a lot of people are beginning to wake up to what is going on around them. As bad as things have gotten, there is endless talk about the next conflict or invasion, crops withering away,floods, drought,etc.. . With that said, I hope what you feel is that the sleepers are now awake, and are going to stand up and fix things.

I can,t say I believe in the 2012 rapture. It would be a great thought if it were tied to people , bringing them out of their "sleep". That is just a thought.

I hope we don't repeat the failures of Rome, Egypt, and other fallen empires.
