yeah both, but they don't seem to have amateurs you can trust watching Long Valley or I can't find any like you can with Yellowstone.

The only active volcano in the Western US is Mt.Lassen in Northern California.

www.volcano-news.com...

You see that map..everything is either erupting or minor activity or restless.

Many of those yellow ones have never been anything but green forever! Like so. sister and they show Yellowstone as restless also.

Hey Just Mike,

I see you are a Mod now congrats.

I have been following this all day...not only do these Cali quakes make me concerned but it seems no one is paying attention to that quake in Hawaii there might well be an underwater volcano coming awake either on its own or with the help of HAARP.

I like this site to watch the quake live in cali it's interesting.

Let's hope it settles I am not sensing anything at all right now.

I'm about to check it out.... But doesn't seem like the earthquakes are going to mess to much with northern California.

Well, with I would say Long Valley and Yellowstone seem to be the same, but the thing is,Yellowstone is a little bigger, and a bit more active.

Yeah, i can agree with that. So you want volcanos specifically in Southern California,or what?

Wonder if there will be a ripple effect thru the Rockies and into the Midwest? If it happens in the ocean, why not on land.. Hope it doesn't knock out old faithful.. That'd be top news for sure.

Ripple effect? Like energy being sweeped through the continent?

I just hope it doesn't move up to the SF Bay area. It has been a long time since we have had any activity. I worry that we have been building up pressure.

Haven't heard of anything big there lately, but there is a possibility it could erupt.
