Venus the Chimera Split Face, Two Face, Odd Eye, 2 Diff Color Eyes... Cat.

First, don't blame me for the title. That's from the vid.

Ok, I'm not a cat person. I love dogs, used to raise wolves and often joke about cats being play toys for dogs.

But this cat...I want it!

Venus's mom found her via facebook, when one of her friends posted pictures of a stray kitten litter at a dairy farm in North Carolina. She immediately took to Venus because she already had two cats -- an orange tabby and a black tuxedo cat -- and Venus looked like a perfect split between the two. She called the farm's owner immediately and her husband flew to NC to get her -- flying her back in a carrier sitting on his lap.

My Favorite:

Venus is most likely a "chimera" -- an animal composed of two populations of genetically distinct cells that originated from different zygotes. This means one would have two different sets of DNA. She is also, relatedly, heterochromatic -- her eyes are two different colors.

Somehow, someway, this cat is gonna make some money.

This has been all over Facebook for the past few days, alot of the pictures seem to be 'shopp'd though. Good to actually see a video that looks real. It's just a cat though, they can have multiple fathers in each litter so there is nothing THAT special about this.

Wow now Im going to have to cut my two cats in half and sew them together

What a lovely tortie!
Being a cat owner my entire life, this is not so unusual to me..but she is gorgeous!
Love how she looks like two different cats when you look at her from opposite sides.

Love it! Very unique cat, never saw a split face before. I have one cat, common grey and black tabby, and that's enough for me. . .
