As the title says there really is not that much more to say. This post is not geared towards your regular local bank teller. This thread is about the corporate elite who manipulate our monetary system to the point that we are enslaved.

Many people say that it's our fault for being enslaved by these bankers and the politicians, and that we should just get off the grid and control our own fate, well I wish it was that easy. I was born into a military middle class family and had a pretty good life but as I got older things got harder. I have degrees, I work my butt off and still struggle to survive. The price of living keeps going up but cost of living increases from employers are rare now days.

We have had bail outs all around the globe that have not helped anyone but the banks and their corporate interests so these bail outs certainly were not in our best interest.

We have many members on ATS who have expressed their disgust and concern with the state of our economies. Yesterday I saw a thread that moved me and I would like to contribute it to my post. Mrgone who is an ATS member told a story that is way too common now days, and I feel his pain because I have nearly ended up in his situation various times regardless of my strong work ethic and high skill set in various fields.

Please visit his thread:

have you ever slept in a wal-mart parking lot?

Stories like these prove that these bankers and their associates are living the high life while us tax payers who use their banking institutions continuously struggle to survive. I don't care if you are a high school drop out or someone who has a doctorate in their respected field, we all deserve to live free of this financial enslavement and Mrgone's story can happen to anyone.

All I can say is...

Down with the bankers!

Peace.

I do agree with you to an extent, and I think that no man should be able to dictate the economy in such ways that they do. The way the economic system has been run is reflected in it's own instability and continual demise. But I do ask this, what of a world with no banks?

Do you think countries can maintain a sustainable economy with no banks what-so-ever? I also agree that the morals and reasoning of some (perhaps most, but definetly not all) bankers is questionable. But if you, someone who claims times have gotten tough, had the opportunity to turn a blind eye and reach into the depths of a stable monatery life, would you?

Corrupt environments create corrupt people, remember that. I wish some alternative would come forward, but I think the inevitable truth is that even if there were a possible alternative sollution, it would be turned down too easily, without thought, and with corruption.

Do you not use banks at all?

I live in a crappy neighborhood and would not trust my life savings to be stuffed under my mattress or even a fireproof safe.

I understand your point, but I don't exactly understand your perception of my point.

What will you do when they turn it into a cashless society? I envy you if you are able to completely get off the grid, regrettably I am not that lucky.

Withall due respect you're pat answer is not helpfull in my view.

And what use cash everywhere? Try bringing 25,000 in cash to your local Auto Dealer. Would they even accept the cash in that large and amount to pay for the vehicle? Maybe, But plan on being monitered by homeland security.

Try renting a hotel, room, a car, try renting anything without a Bank Card tied to funds in the bank. Try paying for airline tickets, or your cruise ship cabin using cash, see how far that gets you.

You have any idea the hassle it is paying cash for you're light, and water bill? Try bring 150,000 in cash to pay for you're new home, or a piece of property. Homeland security will be very interestred in you.
Try getting an internet connection, a cell phone of any worth, try turning on your Lights and your water in that new house you just bought using cash. It wont happen. Try paying you're property taxes in cash.

Try operating any business strictly using cash, try paying you're vendors in cash, try accepting exclusively cash from you're customers. Try paying you,re employees in cash. Try paying all the taxes associated with a business to the government in cash.

I could go on and on and on.

Not using Banks and going cash only is near impossible in 2012 America, and most other countries as well.

Homeland security is very interested in people who ATTEMPT to operate using cash in any amounts other than the price of a nice Dinner. You want them monitoring you night and day?

Thank you for taking the time to help explain my point in great detail

We didn't choose this system, we were forced into it and all the points you raised were valid and relevant to the poster who you responded to.

As I mentioned in my OP, I wish I could just take off and get away from it all and never pay taxes or put my money in these banks, but I need to purchase things such as food and other things that life require.

You can't do anything now days without a credit/debit card. As you said there is no way you are rolling to a car dealership and purchasing a car with cash. I would be hesitant to carry that much cash on me unless I had an armored truck escort.

I remember when I was a lot young and needed a hotel room but had no credit card, I was # out of luck. I was lucky enough to have a family member to bail me out with their credit card.

Just because I'm in the system, it doesn't mean I embrace it.

I think your concern and desire is similar to many today. How do you go off the grid? Is it even possible today?
Good luck!

Flag and Star! And you know what really sucks about the bail outs? They could have given the money to homeowners to pay off their houses with the stipulation that the money had to go for that purpose. Then the banks still would have gotten the money, but the common man would have been given a hand up as well. But because of the way it was handled, only the super wealthy benefited.

Those bail outs could have certainly been put to better use, such as pay off the debt's of home owners. Regrettably these bail outs were part of an agenda to steal from the poor and make the rich people more wealthy, and the real kick in the groin is that we pay interest on these bail outs, and it's our money that they borrowed!

Says the guy with the Pat Tillman avatar. Bada boom. But I agree about not using banks. You can buy cash cards that work just like credit cards in places that you do not want to use cash.

I've tried using those prepaid cash cards for various reason and many retailers, especially international online vendors will not accept them. They usually require a name, which can be faked, but if there is an issue with your purchase and you need a refund or trade, you may have issues producing identification for the fake name you chose. Not only do they require name verification, but they also require verification of address with a utility or cable bill most the time, from my experiences at least.

Any advice on how to get around this would be appreciated.

It is so sad that the government who loves banks has also made it a crime for us to hate them. Who are the bad guys now?

I cannot be of help there as I DO have a bank debit card for online purchases. I want to bring up the idea of barter here though as it is valuable in living as close to a cashless existence as you can. When you barter, you exchange goods and services with another like minded person and everyone walks away with good feelings and Uncle Sam stands around with his hand out and empty. When you barter, you cannot be taxed on the exchange. I can spray paint my neighbors house and he can fix the engine in my pick up truck and we both walk away happy.

A bank is an institution, an inanimate object. Individuals who run these institutions are tasked with providing working capital to the marketplace.

The marketplace is not Wall Street, it is all who do commerce, IOW, its the people themselves. WE are the marketplace for whom bankers are obliged to provide working capital because it is the people who are the creators, the builders, the buyers and the sellers that make any economy function for the benefit of all.

When bankers steal working capital from the institutions they operate it is not the fault of the institutions, but of corrupt individuals within them. It is criminal theft by individuals who, with intent, cut off the source of all livelihoods as well as the lifeblood of the nation and the world, which is the same as stealing the lives of everyone who lives therein.

It would be hard to hang the Jekyll island scammers who, in 1913, set up a fiat money system designed to bankrupt the nation and the people through circulation of fractional, compound interest currency which holds no stable value, they’re dead already. Its equally hard to hang a building.

But stealing capital is capital crime to the nth degree no matter how you look at it, perpetrated by living breathing criminals, justifying capital punishment for stealing the lifeblood of all and by that theft claim to own all the riches and resources of the world.

More importantly, they have stolen the honor of those who occupy innocent government buildings through their control of capital and with it have extorted our representatives to act as their henchmen who claim ownership of the people themselves, mainly through documents we’ve signed waiving our right to own ourselves and the fruits of our labor.

All individuals who march to the banker’s drum knowingly or unknowingly, willingly or unwillingly, aid and abet the criminal holders of stolen property as they wade through hip deep blood of innocents to claim the prizes.

Don’t be an abettor. Quit making excuses. Your lifeblood is no more sacred to the capital criminals than was that of the tens of millions of innocents they have already gotten slaughtered in their let’s you and him fight scams designed to let them walk away with the loot before the blood had even dried. Granted, I’ve been accused before of calling a spade a bloody shovel, but this particular shovel is literally covered in blood.

So to be blunt, we need to be asking ourselves, what is more important to us, being able to rent a car or a hotel room for a few days, or knowing we’ve done the right thing?

There is no law preventing us from inventing our own money system. If we did that, how long would it take before the hotels and car rental joints etc. etc. realized they would have to accept OUR currency or go out of business?

You raise many valid points, most I agree with, but some I do not.

This portion caught my eye:

I believe there are laws against this, but I cannot confirm this so it is speculation on my behalf. Perhaps some other members can confirm or deny this.

Heck, they won't even let little girl have lemonade stands, so I doubt they would let us start our own domestic monetary system.

The countries that do not bow down to the central banking systems get invaded under false pretenses and have puppet governments put in place...Iraq and Libya for example...Syria and Iran are next.

It's not as easy or simplified as I believe you are trying to make it sound. Perhaps I misunderstood your post, either way no harm intended.

Peace.

Please read the link I provided. There is no law against alternative, complimentary, or local currencies.

Here's a working example:
