LOL? I'm confused, you're links just affirm my point... the US didn't invite ALQ in as a covert arm of their own interests, and each of those links confirms that very point?

They didn't invite them in Libya neither but hey they did dirty job for US and NATO. NATO sends them weapons, money and even give political support.

Maybe they did not send written invite to every al-qaeda member but they are sure supporting their actions around middle east.
