Does the 2nd amendment actually say you have to have 'bullet' weaponry?

I was under the impression it simply states that the state militia's (citizens) had the right to bear ARMS, for the defense of the people from a tyrannical government.

In the direct words of your second amendment, you should all have the right to purchase and develop whatever kind of weaponry would even the 'playing field' against the federal government.

Or so it SHOULD be...
