TrapWire tied to anti-Occupy Internet-spy program

rt.com

In only the latest installment of the quickly snowballing TrapWire saga, a company that shares several of the same board members as the secret spy system has been linked to a program called Tartan, which aims to track down alleged anarchists by specifically singling out Occupy Wall Street protesters and the publically funded media — all with the aid of federal agents.

Well, in the Western world, there isn't much talk about the Trapwire surveillance system - something that is not a conspiracy, but a fact.

The Trapwire surveillance system uses security cameras in place in the U.S., Australia and the U.K in conjunction with facial-recognition software to track your every move. So far, it is being tested in major cities.

However, there is another program related to Trapwire named Tartan, which has the sole purpose of tracking down what they call "anarchists" related to the Occupy Wall Street movement, with the help of federal agents.

What will happen to these "anarchists?" They will probably be treated like terrorists, which means they will have no constitutional rights.

If you were aware of politics during the Bush era and you were a Republican, you might have supported the Patriot Act because it was only there to track down Muslim extremists.

If you are currently a Democrat, you might support the use of hard-line tactics against "radical" Christian "terrorists."

But what are you going to do when radical Democrats are considered terrorists as well? This is not only happening now, with Obama as president, but just think... how much more could happen when Republicans take office again.

Supporting either political parties actions is only asking for your own demise one day, as they will trick you into supporting tactics that are one day going to be used against you, no matter whether you are a Republican or Democrat.

Isn't it time to admit that this totalitarian system is not good for a democracy?
