Dems prepare to go behind enemy lines at GOP convention in Tampa

They will be lurking.

Watching.

Listening.

Their amateur story tellers will be writing and talking.

They will twist all possible references to the failed Obama and Democratic policies.

They will cast blame anywhere and everywhere.

I think V.P. Biden is leading the charge !!

Don't call it sabotage, but as Mitt Romney and the Republicans are taking over Tampa for next week's GOP convention, a sizable crew of Democrats will be there as well, working furiously behind enemy lines in an effort to muffle the GOP message.

Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (Fla.), head of the Democratic National Committee (DNC), is launching the Democrats' counter attack on Tuesday with a Tampa-based press conference slamming Romney and the Republicans for their opposition to abortion rights — an issue churning intense interest this week in the wake of Rep. Todd Akin's (R-Mo.) claim that victims of "legitimate rape" are immune to pregnancy......

Dems prepare to go behind enemy lines at GOP convention in Tampa

Will they *Dare* mention:

The Economy ?

The Unemployment rate ?

The wild spending ?

The long list of failures ?

I think it's funny they are sending Biden there.
Is that some type of backhanded insult to republicans?

You're so important, we are sending our BEST to thwart your efforts!
Damn, this could get real funny!

I can't wait for the sound bites from this one!

Perhaps it is the divisive nature of the two party system that is truly at the root of all of americas problems.

viewing the other side as the enemy, means you are attacking your fellow Americans, when one side wins, no one does.

This normal and will happen at the DNC convention as well. As for if the the GOP will mention the stuff you suggested I would guess not much of it. They will distance themselves from the Bush era but at the same time distance themselves from people like tea party man Gov Scott who is widely hated in Florida. Expect them ride the middle in prime time a pander to the base when the cameras are off. The DNC will then rinse and repeat the same thing at their convention. The real problem the GOP has is what is popular with the base is not popular with majority of the voters who are in the center. So they have to cater to a non trusting base without scaring off the center. No idea how they will manage to that in the age of social media and 24 hour news networks.

I'm wondering about that. Could it be that Biden has been and is being set up to fail and remove himself from the ticket? His brain-to-mouth connection is his weakness and his enemies in his own party may be willing to capitalize on that and sacrifice him for the chance to get a female on the ticket. That would put a new spark into the party that is sorely needed now that Obama has turned into a fizzle With a female or a more chrismatic male in his place the demos would win.

Or worse...could something be orchestrated (false flag?) against Biden to make the GOP look bad? Imagine looped cell phone videos playing on CNN instead of coverage of the convention. Let's hope the convention concludes with nothing distracting happening outside.

Yes, the dems always behave like spoiled children.

They always show up and start shouting when the candidate starts speaking.

Then the surrounding republicans start shouting " USA....USA....USA !!!" and

drowns out the troublemaker as he/she is led away by a security guard.

It doesn't do any good.

-------------
Joe Biden is just showing up acting like a loose cannon to shake things up.

The tropical storm may actually help push Biden away!

It's heading straight for Tampa Bay !!!

What exactly do you think the Republicans will be doing during the Democratic convention? Of course that will be twisted as patriotic Americans protecting our country from the evil socialist Democratic propaganda.

All the politicians, talking heads, and strategists are sleazy lying con men. I don't care what party they belong to.

What’s really sad is the ill-informed claim by Akin that victims of "legitimate rape" are immune to pregnancy is a central talking point of the Obama team. With all of the problems in this nation they really believe this is their ticket to re-election?

I’m excited to see the fireworks over the next few months. One thing is for sure, Obama and the dems will make this the dirtiest campaign in the history of presidential politics. This stunt is just the beginning.

What a disgraceful bunch….

Enemy Lines?

Last time I checked, the Republicans were Americans too. Why couldn't they just say they were sending people to check out the opposition?

The articles headline was meant to be divisive. Just another nail in the polarization coffin.

yeah right...and putting in the same team as bush had, is such an improvement...right. i like what we have now, over going back to that nightmare.
by the way, they are not going "behind enemy lines"... they are going to be in the city of tampa to counter the crap that will be coming out of the republicans mouths...it's televised for gods sakes, it's not a seal team 6 raid.
the fact that "the hill" would use this type of rhetoric, further lowers the bar

The liberals know they are about to lose power in Washington DC.

Stand by for crazy antics from now until November 5th, 2012.

It won't do any good. I see President Mitt Romney winning with at least 285 Electoral Votes.

Joe Biden is going to be basically crashing the GOP party down there.

The GOP and the DEMS have had unwritten laws of conduct ... lay low while the
other party has their convention. Guess that's out the window .. for the dems at least.

Anyways .. hurricane Isaac may take care of all this ....

Dude .. did you forget what Obama said? He told hispanics that Republicans were 'the enemy'.
I'm sure that is why the title of the article says 'enemy lines'.
It's a jab at Obama campaigning and calling other Americans 'the enemy'.

God is on our side!

We will be warm and enjoying the RNC Convention inside.

----------

VP Joe Biden will be standing in the pouring rain all by himself and screaming into

a microphone in front of a CNN TV camera crew.

Radical elements of OWS have been pre-positioning things to try and cause a ruckus...didn't Pelosi say, "God bless them?
I wonder if they will do the same at the DNC convention.

And the NBPP are threatening some sort of action as well at the RNC convention. I'm pretty sure they won't even be at the DNC convention, except as security.

But the cops say they are ready...and the Titanic could not sink either and Anna Nicole married for love.

Doesn't make any sense that Debbie and the Dems will try to tie the entire GOP to Akin when credit should be given to both Romney and Ryan for immediately coming out and asking Akin to step down.

Yet on other side of the aisle, we have Obama who has yet to repudiate the "chains" comment made by Biden, and the "paid no taxes in ten years" comment made by Reid. And let's not forget about "Romney killed a cancer patient" ad.

I don't get it, but I'm sure Independents are silently watching and making their decision.

Benrl, You hit the nail on the head! It appears our two party system would rather spend its time defeating one another than doing anything constructive to solve this nations problems.

Whomever wins the general election doesn't even matter, the other party will spend the next 4yrs making sure the winner can accomplish absolutely nothing, I feel like the last 12yrs have been a huge waste of Americas time as far as our politics are concerned. There is nothing about this election or either candidate that inspires me.

It seems that politicians have forgotten the most important part of governing, COMPROMISE, until our leaders learn, again, to reach across the aisle, were stuck in first gear.

Absolutely the death of Compromise will be the death of America.

A house divided against it self can not stand.
