Captain Robert Scott's Ship was found after 100 years. After 100 years Tony Scott passes away.

They both have similar facial features, same surname, both from uk and both passed away in water.

Were they related?

Scott died returning from the South Pole, 11 miles from One-Ton Depot. The Terra Nova returned to England without him.

He was not aboard. He died on the Antarctic continent. The ship returned to England and was refitted.

It sank under a different captain, not Scott.

Here's a picture of Scott and his men about six weeks before they died returning to their base camp.

Amundsen beat him to the Pole by a month. By this time they were short rations and scurvy had set in.
