Its a work PC and the company is very strict about what can be accessed from the net, no facebook, no online poker, no ebay and certainly no porn so no need to worry there.

The guy who returned the DVD didnt do it out of spite he is just totally clueless, almost to the point of Asbergers clueless
Hes actually a friend of a friend and I only met him a few weeks ago, to him finding the DVD and then returning it the way he did was no big deal

You put alot of effort into making a rather pointless post on a thread you obviously find pointless.

Cmon share an opinion before we get shut down

Nah, a picture is worth 1,000 words. A picture of Peter Sellers is worth 10,000 words.

Now, my opinion, in one word: Blackmail.

I was in sales, and we had a habit of pranking others.

An example was we took one of the older African American salesmen phone (who was violently homophobic), changed the ring tone for the stores phone number to its raining men, the photo to gay porn, and the name of the contact to bootie call..

we waited till he was showing his phone to a customer (sold cell phones) when she opened it we called the number so the ringtone came on as well.

So Im inclined to think it was a joke perhaps? if not, well whats the big deal, simply return the DVD and inform him youd appreciate it if he didn't use work computers for such activities as viewing porn.

In that case I would discreetly give the dvd back to the co-worker, go about my business, and try my best to forget the whole incident.

I think I would also be hesitant to loan him the computer again, not because he watches gay porn, but because apparently he's not great at keeping a lid on his extracurricular activities from the people he works with. You don't want people at work knowing too much about your private life, no matter what you do off the clock!

I let my housemates use my pc and I often come home to find gay porn as my desktop.

It's a windup, and an annoying one sometimes.

One time I came home with my new gf of about a fortnight to find 3 porno mags, granny porn was one of them on and under my bed, I had trouble making her believe for a sec, cos when you look that panicked you look guilty as hell! Luckily my friends came in laughing and took the heat off.btards.

I wouldn't mind hazarding a guess your friend is yanking your chain, I bet he told a few people what he has done.

I would strive to talk to the person, and clue him in on the dangers of the internet, and also of the hatred many people have for Gays. First off, delete the video.

Though many may see humor in how the DVD was returned. i think it was cruel, and may end up with that person leaving his job through embarrassment or being fired. Unfortunately, some offices are like grade school environments.

This is just my personal opinion, and no reflection on you.

Play frisbee with it against a brick wall until it gets really dinged up; then, go to the porno friend's place and invite him out to play frisbee. Walk back 100 feet or so and frisbee it to him or her and then leave while they pick it up.

Ill just clear this up for everyone,

I was in no way involved in this situation, its just something I was told about over a couple of beers at after work drinks.

It wasnt my PC, it wasnt my DVD and I dont work at the company.

edit on 21-8-2012 by IkNOwSTuff because: (no reason given)

Ooooooh what to do...
I guess I'd make some popcorn, grab a case or four of beers and invite all of the wifes good looking friends over.

Seriously though, I'd give my buddy his property back and chastize him for thinking I was one of the backward thinking inbreds that cannot accept his lifestyle.

I would delete it and not mention it. My relationship with the person would not change in the slightest.

If it's a friend, of course I'll have to embarass him in front of our other friends outside of work, it would be my duty as a friend.

A work budy, I would discretly give it back and make sure he understands that this kind of crap won't stand.

A work foe. Put is back in HIS / HER DVD tray. Put the media centre autoplay function on shut off the computer.
