Hey yall,

Nothing here conspiracy related but was bored and thought Id throw it out there to see what you all thought, I dont imagine it will be of any help but it should be a laugh.

Ok so this is a true story and I would like to hear what you would do.

A friend of mine lent his work laptop to a colleague whos laptop was being upgraded over the weekend.
He gets it back at work on Monday and then Monday night at home discovers a hardcore gay porn DVD in the cd rom.

What would you do?
Would you mention it to the colleague?
Would you throw it away and act like you never saw it?
Would you still speak to the person?

Ill let you know how it turned out in reality after a few responses

Toss the trash in the trash not mention it, never knowing how that would go.

Actually a guess a lot depends on the relationship... doesn't it.
If this happened to be some secret the guy keeps would ruin a work relationship.

I'd probably laugh my head off!

I don't engage in pranking at work, but my husband and his work buds are always trying to top each other's pranks.
I could be wrong, but I don't see why your friend would loan a computer to a work colleague unless they were buddies.

throw it away.
Then feign ignorance about knowing where it went.

Really who cares.

Ive been here so long Ive forgotten its not a big deal LOL.

To add some context, this guy is married, lives in a conservative country where technically its illegal to be gay or have porn.

So anyway what the guy who found the DVD did was bring it in to work to return it but the guy wasnt in today so he left it face up with a post it note on top saying " you left this in the PC over the weekend"

Most of the office saw it and Ill be surprised if the guy sticks around another week, its quite a big deal over here.

Me persoanlly would have just tossed it and never mentioned it unless he was totally out so to speak then I would have returned it

Im gonna go with the theory that it was probably left there as a joke. Now if your friend happens to have a bunch of browser history with that stuff, then i dont know.. Otherwise, if they play around like that with each other, its probably just harmless fun.

Or the guy is guy, which in that case, he should just leave it in his desk. Could be his fave dvd of all time

I delete it and ask him to not look at porn on my pc ever again.

The big problem is you never know who's looking back, and many of those files are purposely mistitled to mislead somebody into downloading illegal porn so they can trap people to put them in jail.

That means if he'd done that I'd be held responsible and he gets off scott free.

If he continues to do that then I'd never let him use my pc ever again.

You put alot of effort into making a rather pointless post on a thread you obviously find pointless.

Cmon share an opinion before we get shut down

Toss it in the trash, not mention it to anyone at work, nor my friend. Let him wonder where it went.....

Unless, it was a subtle come-on by the coworker who borrowed the computer...you never know.

Wow, that's crazy how much of a negative reaction adults around there have to gays and porn... it might have been a prank, but anyway I would have probably put it in one of his desk drawers at least considering the local culture :p

I'd check out that returned PC very carefully to see if there are any pics on it. If that stuff is dangerous to have where you are, you don't want any incriminating evidence on the PC, including cookies, temp files, and such.

I'm sorry the guy chose to return the DVD like he did. That was unnecessary. He could have handled the situation more discretely no matter what his personal opinion is.
