Not going to get into it tonight.

If you can justify it, then okay for you.

I think it's wrong.

Have a nice day.

So, you state that it infringes upon the "rights of the unborn", yet you refuse to state, clearly and succinctly, what those "rights" are? In other words, its how you feel, but you cant back it up.

Fair enough.

Since it is apparent that you do fall into that category, I will repeat myself.

Rights end where others begin. The rights TO LIFE, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

The rights for the unborn are currently not recognised (see previous posts) but IT IS MY OPINION that that ruling is wrong.

I'd type this in crayon, but will use smaller words if you are still confused.

again, you are stating your OPINION on the matter. You forget about what THE LAW says. You claim that the unborn have rights. Why wont you post some legal backing to that? Ohhhhh, right. There is none.

Keep tossing your little insults out. Doesnt change the fact that you are spewing rhetoric that has no legitimate basis in real life.

As I said before, you are simply stating how you feel about it, and claiming it as fact. Sorry, buddy. Doesnt work that way.

See, thats how you respond like a grown up

also, it might be time to come up with a new Ad Hom attack. You've played out your little "crayon" jab in too many threads. Its lost its appeal.

There was also a time where the law didn't allow women to vote.

One can only hope that this law will change.

Where do you draw the line? I know a catholic priest in my local area that thinks masturbation is taking a life. Does that mean all men are serial killers?

Fact is, we cannot agree on where to draw the line so let's protect the right of women/men to talk to a doctor and make the choice that is best for them.

But aren't the rights of the unborn igored?

I would like to hear your thoughts on male masturbation. It seems this poster asked about masturbation and you didn't answer, so I would like to hear a pro-life answer for this. What are your thoughts?

Wanting to cut food stamps and other social services really shows how much they like children.

This is just hillarious...The National Republican Senatorial Committee was cheering him on and about to send him a check...and today they say no cash for you and claim that Democrats got him nominated.

The GOP spin machine...black is white, up is down, corruption = integrity, killing medicare and medicaid = healthy senior living and...that guy who thinks that doesn't understand basic reproduction and thinks women who are "legitimately" raped can't get pregnant???...well now he is a Democrat!

It is like they don't understand that votes have the ability to think.

The way this country is going, the poster you referenced will probably end up on food stamps and/or social services if they aren't cut by then.

That's the sad truth.

The GOP is also talking about cutting the school lunch program for 280,000 desperately poor children (House GOP Would Kick 280,000 Children Off School Lunch Program To Protect Tax Cut For Millionaires). Yet, they'll force the victim of rape to bear an unwanted pregnancy, even if the rape victim is herself a child or young teen.

The policies of the GOP are just plain backwards.

No he's just a coward who made money bankrupting companies and helping to add to the unemployment lines. And when did Obama become a commie? Don't tell me your one of those people who don't know the difference between a socialist and a communist.

Joe Biden has oppressive ideas where womens rights are concerned ... he says he 'understands' Chinas one-child policy which includes forced abortions. He signaled his approval of this type of severe government intrusion and physical abuse of women. Biden also has outdated and oppressive ideas when it comes to marriage equality (he doesn't support homosexual marriage).

As you said .. Biden being a heartbeat away from the presidency, it's something I think we all should be aware of.

Strange ... I don't see anyone on the left having a problem with Biden and his outdated and oppressive ideas. So why are they having such a hard time with Paul Ryan sponsoring anti-abortion bills? Could it be the ol' (R) vs (D) thing again? Yep ... I'm thinking probably ...

That's NOT Catholic teaching. So I figure either you got it wrong or that supposed priest doesn't understand his faith .. the faith he went to college for 6-8 years to study. Which is more likely?

The Catholic teaching is that human life begins at conception. Male sperm is NOT a human being. An egg in an ovary is NOT a human being. Once the two get together and start dividing ... THAT is when life begins according to the Catholic faith.

Pro life ... masterbation is irrelevant. It has nothing to do with ending the life of a human being. It has nothing to do with stopping the heart beat of an unborn child. The reason that some religions out there say that masterbation is a 'grave sin' is because those churches believe in Onanism (which has nothing to do with abortion). The Catholics are the most well known for this belief. Most main stream protestant churches also believed in Onanism until the 1920s. Not all pro-lifers believe Onanism (masterbation .. pulling out early ... spilling the seed) is a sin. Onanism is a faith thing .. not an abortion thing.

Some Catholics believe that. Whether it's part of the church's teachings or not, I couldn't tell you.

But that's why it's good to leave religion out of public policy. Even most religions do not agree on everything....so let's try not to make laws based on it.

I see conservatives and the GOP in general self destructing with their not so subtle support of Todd Akin with their war on women and Hispanics.

Even my Baptist, Republican, conservative, elderly mother has bailed on the GOP with this bonehead remark and support. She bailed on the GOP with Palin but returned and has now bailed again. I doubt if she will vote for Obama but probably sit this election out.
