35 wpm was my top speed in high school
and doing it properly too

dont want to know how slow i am over 37 yrs later

Lot of good it does me with so many "talk to type" options out there these days.

That was fun... especially the first attempt (click thumbnail for bigger pic):

Wow, an adjusted speed of... 0 words per minute!

Apparently I must have missed a word near the start or something, and everything from then on was wrong. But I like their promo bit... Boost Your Typing Speed (of 0) so it's 58 times faster.. to make 58 wpm...

Soooo... 58 x 0 = 58! They win for marketing but major fail for arithmetic. They should be doing marketing for the Fed!

Well anyway as my computer obviously made a mistake ( ) I did the test again with a different text (about tigers), which was actually more technical than the first text:


44 wpm adjusted. Seeing as I only use two fingers, I think I can live with that.
