You're establishing your opinion on when an individual's life begins v/s a "growth" inside someone's body as "fact" before you start the argument.

You're kind of missing the WHOLE debate about abortion if you just establish that little matter as a foregone conclusion.

Yeah, and legitimate victims of gunshots don't die. The body has ways of cauterizing its own bullet holes in the event of it being victimized. If you die from it, you were obviously asking for it.

The Senator doesn't have the mental or moral conscious to be elected (or hired) in any position of responsibility, not even as a counselor for children.

And abortions are a bit of a tricky issue. The first trimester should be open and FREE SAFE abortions done at the will of the person, then its over. Because after that, the Developing Infant, starts massively developing the brain required for Consciousness. They begin to Rem sleep even, and this implies that for the large part, soul may have entered.

You are not your body. You enter it. Souls don't enter the first trimester, when alot of miscarriages happen, and the infant doesnt have to be cut apart to take out.

Common sense, and medical information would really change this entire thing around.

However, imposing your religious beliefs upon someone else and forcing them to support them with their body and womb and life is outrageous.

And murdering unborn children who are rapidly developing their brains is also criminal.

There needs to be balance.

In reality, if it wasn't for the morning after pill, there are probably more pregancies out of rape situations than casual dating.

Why? Because some of this happens in proximity with biochemicals triggering things, and women have a different biochemicals when they are close to ovulation. So have a feeling that some of the rapes occur when women and youths are close to ovulating. Though all of rape is Violence and Domination and Anger, not sexual arousal but anger issues. However, people pick up biochemicals and emit them.

You know, you don't have to pass an IQ test to be in the Senate...

That's like saying I'm going to murder my big toe because I don't want it anymore...does my big toe have a life force is it aware of what's going on does it have a mind of its own? matter of choice?....yes, yes it is. now you got it....china= no choice...america=choice
no...american women do not condemn their children to death. mark of the end of civilization? women have had a "choice" for thousands of years, the problem was they usually ended up dieing if they tried to abort. do you actually think that women enjoyed rape and forced sex? do you think women wanted to have a child by a psychotic rapist?..you might want to engage the help of a good therapist to resolve your feelings toward women.

Welcome to what it feels like to be an American. I live here, and see extreme evangelical irrationality on just about a daily basis in my real life.

The frightening part is that a couple of decades ago only shady TV preachers would go this far out publicly... Now, with the ultra conservatism sweeping through the country - many people will not only admire this mans message - they will vote for him because of it.

Did we gain the ability to create babies outside of a woman's body? Wow, when did that happen?

If it can't stay alive outside of my body then it is not independently alive. If it isn't independently alive then how can you call that a separate "life"?

If you'd like to do away with women as part of the baby making process so that our pesky feelings and needs can be completely discounted then by all means find a way.

The scary thing about this is I bet he really could dig up one or two doctors who could come up with some type of "scientific" proof. It's really easy to do.

Almost any type of study could prove anything with a little selective sampling and biased questions/theory.

This is why liberals need to be very careful with using "scientific" studies to further their cause. The only reason why left/liberal studies are being used is because you have judges willing to use these studies. The tables can get turned very quickly.

The person brought up China actually raises a good point. In China they have all sorts of studies showing how good forced abortion is for people. It doesn't make it moral or ethical. Even if this guy was right (and for sure he wasn't), would it still be ok for the small minority that did result in pregnancy?

It is a moral question of who gets to decide.

A person is not a part of another person. They are independent in soul and body. The mother is host - she feeds/nurtures the individual baby - the separate person - by means of the umbilical cord.
