A company called Cyberkinetics Neurotechnology Systems has actually developed a device that can do things based on what its user is thinking.

Yahoo News

Amazingly people who have lost a limb could get a computerized artificial one and think about moving it and it will move. What a wonderful invention it would be for someone who is paralyzed. It's quite a few years away from its full potential but I think Christopher Reeve would be proud.

Nice find!

It raises a number of intriguing ethical problems for the biomedical world that need to be addressed. It's just a pity that this kind of technology wasn't further along to help poor Christopher Reeve.
