Is there any real difference between untreated natural tobacco and treated tobacco?

Most commercial tobacco have all kinds of chemicals in it:

Untreated tobacco does not have any additives.

I'm a non smoker, so I'm a little bit curious about this. Is there any real differences between treated and untreated tobacco when you smoke it?

Not really sure. But as a smoker I can definately say that I don't wake up in the morning coughing my lungs out since I started rolling and smoking my own from natural tobacco.......I still know it isn't good for me, but neither is most of the food we buy in the grocery stores. So I guess it comes down to picking your poison, doesn't it?

American Spirit brand tobacco claims to be non-additive and I could tell a big difference. Better taste, better burn, and perhaps better for you. Definitely my choice for cigarettes, but I quit.
It might be all in my head, and I've never burned it next to regular gas station tobacco, but I can tell a difference.

There is a huge difference. If you hold a Marboro Light to a Blacklight you can see the chemicals eliminate bright blue.

Go with electronic cigs.

American Spirit is believed by some to be the best tobacco line available for cigs.

It is the only RYO tobacco I would pay full price for considering the outrageous taxes.

I have been smoking Kentucky Select brands and find them good for less expensive.

I'll second that.
I like it more than I ever liked cigs, but it's not everyone's cup of tea.
