In the meadow while I sit,
In the light a face I see,
Looking like you to me.

Have you truly come at last?

In the meadow while I sit,
The sun is getting low,
In dusky shadows
A form I see,
Looking like you to me.

Will you come and sit with me?

In the meadow while I sit,
The scented breezes blow,
I hear a voice like yours to me.

"I really have to go."
