Education HAD agreat role in Islam about 1,000 years ago. Not so any more, which is why they rest of the world shot scientifically and culturally past them in the enlightenment.

Particularly after what happened to Lebanon. No reason aid couldn't go via there though. And the poor Palestinian refugees once in Arab countries, well they are treated as barely human. The whole point is that they can be used as propaganda tools against Israel if they live in squalor. In fact, if you want to know how Arabs treated Palestinian refugees you should look up what happened in Jordan, called black September.

I'm sorry, I was going on info from when I was in Israel in the eighties. This doesn't alter in any way the number of Middle eastern Jews dispossed when they fled in terror from Arab lands in the 1940's (about 850,000), just the proportion today in Israels population. Also FYI, the number of Jewish refugees was more than the number of Arab refugees. Also lost Jewish refugee assests were estinated about $700 million in the forties, Palestinian about $450 million (billions today).

You do know that yasser arafat gave them the idea to call themselves palestinians correct? According to historical accounts the romans changed the name of Judea/israel to palestine as a insult. They named everyone in palestine after that palestinians as a further insult and to break the culture if the area. Palestinians are named after the Israeli enemy Philistines who were wiped out. SO how can they be their decendants when all of them were killed off 3000 yrs ago now?

And they were very fortunate to be under Nazi rule in 1930s Germany. They learned well from the Nazis and implemented several of their innovations regarding genocide.
