Like the education you lack? I haven't seen any part of any reservation that is being overrun by murdering settlers. A native American can order anyone off of their reservation when was the last time you saw a Palestinian order an Israeli around.

The real issue,surely,is that the Palestinians have had the state of Israel forced upon them.Palestine existed as a state in it's own right for thousands of years before Britain forced the Israeli state upon them.

Regardless of how you or any of us,from a western perspective, view life for the Palestinian people under Israel,and I do agree 100% that the vast majority of Muslim Nations treat their people abominably,the Palestinians did not have a choice in the matter.

To me that is the issue,how they choose to rule themselves is absolutely not up to an occupying state,no matter how well they are perceived to be treated.

Its not so much its a muslim loving site. The point is we have no right interfering in another countries affairs. If we were not there and they were killing themselves off, so be it and good luck to them. The problem is, they aren't unless we are meddlng and causing problems.

I agree, get our soldiers and weapons out of there and let them fight amongst themselves if thats what they want.. Funny thing is, when we leave they will probably return to peace times because all the crap being caused is from our spy agencies and simply our presence in the region.

The Israeli and Palestinian authorities wanted to swap a border territory Arab villages from Israeli to Palestinian control a few years ago. The villagers protested this. Apparently an Israeli govt is better than an Arab one.

The health, lifespan, standard of living, right to vote and access to justice is a good deal better in Israel for Arab Israelis than for the average Arab in any Arab country.

There's social inequality between Arabs and Jews in Israel, also between Arabs and whatever ethnic group in whichever modernized country they have moved to. This happens when your cultural idea of a good education is memorising the Koran verbatim instead of studying science. It severely limits your furure income if you don't get a real education.

Half the Jewish population in Israel are Mizrahim, Jews from Arab lands. They fled the Arab countries they were living in after a milenia of Arab persecution, most of them abandoning all they couldn't carry to turn up in Israel as penniless refugees. They were treated WAY worse in Arab land than Arabs are treated in Israel,; in fact many Arab rulers and Imams were all on board with Hitlers final solution. Bear that in mind when Palestinian Arabs whine about the right to return. Life for Jews in North Africa during the war was a story in Arab persecution, as well as German. There appears to be a zionist minority which tends to sing the praises of Israel. That's fine, they are entitled to their opinion.

As far as the rest of us being "muslim-loving" or "pro-pally", those terms are incredibly silly.

Why is it wrong to stand up and say that any human rights violations are a bad thing? Why is it wrong to be on the side of any people who are oppressed? The OP's first post basically said that the Palestinians should be happy they're occupied by Israelis. Perhaps if they all had Stockholm Syndrome, but most human beings deplore being prisoners and second-class citizens. I am shocked by the premise of this thread, but not entirely surprised.
