Last night while looking for info on this, I read an article that referred to Greg Pinson as her "partner". Wish I had saved that article and will try to find it again to post to this thread. All other reports call him her husband.

ETA...it also says they both live in Denver.....and they are both somewhat active on FB...
so why does the story say she died in a lake near her house, when her FB says they live in Denver....why not change their FB status to where they live?

Just heartbreaking.

If this is the only one, then as another stated regarding a "Final Destination" scenario - maybe there is some level of synchronicity involved (to what ends, I don't know, as I know nothing of how reality actually works) - but I'll put this out there: about 1 in 110,000 people drown in the U.S. Every year. If there were 500 people in the theatre, then the odds were about 1:220 that someone in that theatre would drown within 12 months of the shooting.

These odds are incorrect. You only got these odd by dividing 110,000 by 500 which then equals 220. You then need to multiply that by 110,000.

The true odds here that someone would drown in that supposed group of 500 is actually 1:24,200,000

Now with those odds, there is reason for suspicion.

They do live in Denver currently...

They found her in Iowa, while also reporting that she died in a lake near her house.

It is puzzling because "near her house" would mean she died in a lake approximately 700 miles and 11 hours from where she was found.

Yes, I see your point.

And we should also bear in mind that it wasn't reported she was dead until 10 days after her actual death.

Therefore, why was her body moved? And why are there no details about what seems to be a large inconsistency.

Regarding the question of how Jenny died, the new Herald article says (cache):

Greg explained that the family had travelled[sic] to nearby Ohio[sic] for a holiday when Jenny tragically drowned.
He and Jack had gone to sleep when Jenny and her friend decided to take a boat out on to a lake.
“She wasn’t a very strong swimmer and I suppose she just wasn’t able to stay afloat.
“The hardest thing is I may never know what really happened to Jenny.”

The first Herald article said that Gallagher drowned in “a lake close to her home”.
The second article says that it was a lake in “nearby Ohio”.
Besides the fact that Ohio is 1000+ miles from Denver, not “nearby” at all.
Gallagher was actually found in a lake in Iowa, which is also nowhere near Denver.

They were on vacation in Iowa at the time.

That is I think they were, because reports change...

she went on boat with a "friend" at night when her husband and child went to bed

she apparently "drowned" but they didnt report her missing until the morning, where was the "friend"?

she was "not a strong swimmer" yet appeared to be very athletic and went to costa rica to surf?

the location of where the death occurred was mis-reported in most media.

why does the husband say "i guess we'll never really know what happened to her?" seems pretty cut and dry if you follow the official story.

anyways, the photo of her with barak reminded me of the photo of the 9-11 truther woman with barak. i think she died about 2 weeks after that photo was taken as well!

Yes...

For reasons of delicacy I won't be speculating about her husband.

I am also pretty sure her body was moved during the night... from Denver to Iowa,

about 11 hours, after which time they made a 'set up' so it looked like something else and put in the report to police... sick people.

Lets just say that without this "friend" in the story... things look very different dont they...specially if the husband wasnt sleeping as he claims.

There is just something about his comment "We may never know what happened to Jenny" that strikes me as very odd. If you lose your strong swimmer wife to drowning , the natural tendency is to find out what happened, not to give up and accept it without asking questions.

I dont want to be disrespectful though. I dont know the husband, and I know the media takes things out of context. And why would the husband kill his wife, when he had nothing to do with the shooting?

Maybe he was told what to say?? We definitely need to keep this thread updated as more information comes out. I doubt the husband was involved in her death, but who knows?

That is sad really.

I feel bad for her family..as we all do.

I hope it wasn't anything like that Jason Statham movie about him being an assassin.

The first thing I thought of when I heard this....

And they got away with it again. They will never stop, they make the rules. Sad, sad world we live in. After reading all the great research my fellow ATSrs posted I came to the conclusion that there is no way she just drowned like that. Way too many discrepancies. This fills me with utter rage and grief,...oh the humanity, where has it gone?

Great thread with some good delving going on.... Greg Pinson is a surgical specialist in general and TraumaSurgery...He works in the Red Rocks medical centre.. Was any of the shooting casualties treated there? The reports Ive seen was that the casualties were treated at ten hospitals or centres in Colorado?

Every team has its ups and downs, it's wins and losses. Yesterday, the Pinson and Gallagher families, the Gaels and our Irish community suffered a great loss - Jennifer Gallagher passed on, leaving a wake of sorrow, sadness and loving memories.

Jenny Gallagher was a loving and devoted mother and wife to Jack and Greg. She was the most giving person who always put others above herself. When you met Jenny she brightened up your day and wanted to know how you were doing. Others always came first in the most natural and sincere way. In her vocation as a nurse, she cared for those with most acute needs in the burn unit, the ER and most recently was recognized for her work with the Aurora shooting victims by President Obama. We were all very proud of her.

We got to know Jenny as a teammate in 1999, she was a proud Meath woman who played on the first Ladies football team at the North American Finals in 2000. While Jenny and the ladies did not win that year, she led the support from the sidelines as they drove our mens football team to an historic Junior B championship. Overnight Jenny became a much loved member of our tight knit community which for many of us functions as a second family in America.

Jenny was excited to be back playing football this year and was enjoying the Friday night games at Infinity Park and also played on the Denver Gaels ladies football team at the recent Irish festival, beating teams from San Francisco and Dallas to win the tournament. She so loved to be with the Ladies that were her team mates and so many who were her very close friends. Memories of trips with the Gaels whether it was for tournaments, camping in Moab, or surfing in Costa Rica would never have been so fond had Jenny not been there. We will always remember her wonderful smile, her loving and sharing nature.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Greg, Jack, the Pinson and Gallagher families and as a mark of respect all Denver Gaels practices and games will be cancelled until after this weekend.

Arrangements for memorial services are still being determined and we will share more information once it becomes available.

Hold on a minute, there is some definite confusion going on here. The way I read the story is that she worked in the hospital where victims of the massacre were treated, so she helped save the lives of those who were in the theater that night. She however, was NOT in the theater herself. She isn't a witness to the shooting.

Am I understanding this incorrectly?

I personally believe something doesn't add up with the shooting itself. However, I really don't see a reason why a medical professional would be "silenced". It just doesn't make sense to me at all. I'm not saying for sure that no foul play occurred, just that if a witness had knowledge of something it would most likely be someone who was actually IN the theater that night.
