Author gives George Obama funds for sick son

I read this story and felt really sad. George Obama, obviously estranged from his famous multi-millionaire brother, had to ask an author that interviewed him for funds to treat his ailing son.

I hope you take a couple minutes to read this short story and think about your own family. Does charity begin at home for you? Are you your brother's keeper? Do you know how to forgive and forget? Nobody has a perfect family maybe yours has a black sheep. Did you write that person off? Do you try to make amends or let an unforgiving attitude rule you?

I say this because I think we need to look in the mirror before we judge others for what we ourselves do.

Can you in any way empathize with George? He has a delinquent, but never convicted of any crimes.I have no clue as to why he is distanced from his family other than what it written about their ideological differences and their social class.

I will never buy another Simon & Schuster book after what they did to George's in the U.S.
