Most of the 2012 movies were plain and overhyped.

I didn't see DKR but, I heard the storyline takes you every where(some people didn't like it).

The only movie that felt like an actual movie was "Safe". I do believe Hollywood ran out of ideas. Just all book to movies came out this year was really massive from "Hungar Games" to "Bourne Legacy" and "Total Recall". More Book to movies are coming soon too.

"The Avengers" was just pure action and over hyped. The enemies were stupid and it wasn't as refreshing when you first saw those WW2 movie or older sci-fi movies.

"Prometheus" was also disappointing. Another WTF movie.

I may go watch Expendables 2(as it isn't an actual book to movie).

If you are disgusted with what hollywood is putting out then why don't you try your hand at screen writing.

With todays technology anyone with a video camera and a laptop can make movies for the big screen.

there are no limits and no rules so please just quit whining about the state of hollywood and films in general;
