I have been into remote viewing for a very long time. Even before I knew that was what I was doing, I was viewing the locations of people I knew or items around them and so fourth. I have always wanted to host an experiment so I here it is!

On my dresser, in my bedroom, there are 9 items on my dresser top that have a wide range of sizes, textures, colors, ages, even smells. Your mission is to guess those items. You can do all 9 but try to get at least 4 of the 9. I will also accept descriptions of the room or dresser itself valid. I will allow this to go for three days at which time I will post pictures of the items in question.

So, the experiment ends on 8/18/2012 at 9:30pm EST

Happy Viewing!

How could remote viewing possibly work when I never even met you, been in your room, or even have the slightest clue where you live? Thus, making remote viewing highly impossible and more likely coincidental.

I don't really believe this is possible, so for #z and giggles I will take a wild stab at it.......

a King from a deck of Poker cards
a Zippo Lighter
a black belt

thats all I got

Clearly. This guy is assuming completely unnatural powers that apparently many people 'possess'.

I don't deny remote viewing, but I think the situation he has set up is unreasonable. To 'travel' requires some spiritual 'scent' so to speak. You need some chords to hold onto to carry you into the proper environment. Otherwise it's just imagination.

flower in a jar
a star wars figurine
a rock
a video game case
a ball
a dog
an antennae
blonde doll
silver coin

this is what came to mind, also a flowered bed skirt, but I don't really believe this stuff so lets see.

So I went through and read everyone elses answers and there were other things, like a woman in a picture, jewlerry box, and comb that I was gonna mention, but I stopped at nine...funny

I posted before I had seen any of the other people's replies ... so, what amazes me here is that so many of us have a statuette, statue, figurine, etc. in our list; many are of various animals. I mean, I've never known anybody with a figurine on their dresser and I doubt it's a common dresser top item. So, why the synchronicity in our guesses in regards to the figurine? Why are we all thinking about animal figures?

What other 'guesses' are in common?

And how many other responders, made their reply before seeing previous replies?

Well, I guess this is purely a "Sherlock Holmes" matter of deduction.
1. Lace doilies.
2. Jewelery box.
3. Comb.
4. Brush.
5. Nail file.
6. Scissors.
7. Make up.
8. Favourite perfume.
9. Photo of children.

Elementary my fellow ATS-ers.

You have a lot of takers here making an honest effort to meet your challenge.

I, on the other hand, with a different set up, have not been so successful.

I can't wait until you reveal what your items are.

I thought they didn't discuss members.

If she wasn't, then that opens up a whole other can of worms.
