I am interested if any fellow Australians have a preferred leader of Australia. I don't just generally mean Howard/latham but rather other people in politics or not. I can't think of any off hand bu I will meanwhile please post.

I don't give a toss about leadership, I'm more interested in policy and ethics.

Howard is no leader, he is and always has been just a puppet. He is unable to stand up to adversaries and has been protected by the party machine. But good on him for having the refined skills of brown-nosing so necessary to appease the likes of current "leader" of the free world "president" Bush in being subservient and obedient to the i-n-c-u-m-b-e-n-t American government's every corrupt whim and piece of fraud.

OK, that's one non-leader.

Only 20 million Aussie candidates to go.

So I take that to mean, that you can't think of anyone who would be superior to JH ?

Quite the opposite.

There are 20 million superior candidates, give or take a few hundred thousand druggies, hardened criminals and genuine imbeciles. But I would assess them on their merits over Howard.

I think we could do with an injection of fresh blood in the political arena. There really isn't that much difference between them all.

As far as who it should be........well Molly Meldrum would be good

I wouldn't vote Labor. Unless they became socialist again. And took a principled stand on social issues, rather than timidly kowtowing to the electorate.
