I simply have no comment, other than to point out a commercialization of the undead.

Is this actually serious? It seems like a joke.

Clever and entertaining marketing ploy. I'm sure the undead won't mind.

Pssst, for those who haven't guessed: It's just a "hot' round I imagine.

We have some of this style stuff in Australia, might be the same group. I haven't looked closely at it because, at least here, it's just more expensive versions of ordinary ammunition as far as I can tell.

I guess I don't really care that much, but as far as gun saftey is concerned I don't really like it. Then again, I'm not really a 'gun club person' so it's probably not marketed at me. I guess it's marketed at 20 something movie goers and slightly unhinged survivalists?

Hornady was having sub-par ammo sales on that particular round so they painted the tips green slapped them in a pretty zombie box, gave them the Zombiemax name, and then put them on the market and it has been quite sucessful for them too. There is absolutely nothing special about the ammo. Just a simple marketing ploy.

He was dead already, so I shot him again!
Die again Zombie!
lol
I dont see the need for Zombie specific ammo, what works on the living will work on the undead.

This Zombie-max crap is merely re-branded Hornady A-Max ammo, the plastic in the tip is a different color and their marketing pukes did up new packaging but everything else is still the same. That being said Hornady does make quality ammo (better than a lot of the competition anyway) and this stuff will suffice for most weekend shooting or tasty critter hunting purposes.

Love it.
you just need fragmentation rounds.
and one round head shot.
dont wast ammo you have lots more zombies coming.

or you can put a cross cut on the top of the bullet.
it helps it fragment. and that turns the brain to mush.

I have some. I picked it up because they were out of the normal crap for my AK. It's the same as the normal rounds except the tip is green. Felt like a tool buying it, but like I said, same stuff, different color and stupid box.

This has been out for a while now. Hornandy cashing in on society's stupidity like everyone else. EOTech just came out with a "new" zombie holographic red dot optic. They didn't want to miss this party.

I have always enjoyed watching all these zombie movies and even the T V shows.

I do have one question though, and it even applies to many of the action shows of late.

Just what is all the hollering about ??? It seems every time some guy picks up a gun his mouth flies open.

When I was in the military, the main thing we did not want anyone to know is where we were, or even that we were there.

Silence is not just golden -- it will help you stay alive.

Do they do this trying to scare the zombies away ??
