Wait, they deleted two San Francisco quakes? Does that mean they didn't happen?

I was sitting right at computer watching earthquake.usgs.gov... when I seen the ones in California hit, right after the TWO that hit in Russia. They pulled all the earthquakes that happened after the first 7.3 hit and now they changed that one to a 7.7.

I find it odd that they pulled all of them. I can see if they possibly misunderstood two hitting Russia back to back, but the other ones got pulled too? I've seen this happen before too, where quakes get pulled. I'm not sure why but, it does make you wonder.

I agree in that you all better have your emergency gear ready... The time is now.

All of the Cali quakes can be viewed here still...

Initially I saw them as 4s. They were upgraded to 5s, then deleted shortly after...

This is strange, as at least one 5.1 has hit North California. Here's a link that proves it.

L.A Times

But according to the article was revised to 4.3

Really, how in the world could they make a mistake like that?

At least it wasn't further south, near the la area. More precisely canyon or morro bay, ca. Two reactors down there. Was suppose to be a reactor near bodega bay, ca but that project never went through, luckily

I think the 7.7 triggered the reading in CA. Unless someone here personally felt them, I wouldn't worry too much over them disapearing.

Yup,that's what was showing up for me. But there was four by the time I took the picture.

All ranged from 7.3-7.7.

Probably nothing, but just the maps messing up.

Kinda off topic, but I remember a thread about a bunch of scientist in the Baja, packing their bags and leaving about a year ago. People were speculating about a big earthquake prediction.

Sorry I don't know much about this, but is it normal for all these earthquakes to be so closely timed together around the ring of fire?
