Rahter sleezy politics if I must say.
Wasn't a certain Party talking of DEATH PANELS regarding Obamacare?

Might be just me, but isn't that a Tad Bit Sleezy?

Trying to scare older voters?

Considering the lefts support of Abortion seems to me the accurate statement of death panels and those who champion birth control pills and hide behind "womens rights" also hear nary a word about Obamas kill lists either the next biggest death panel.

Over 50% of this country pay no federal taxes. Social security and the other payroll taxes are not taxes, per se, but, rather deposits for both health and retirement insurance. People today due to their longivity take far more out of these systems than they put in.

Excise taxes? You could'nt feed the residents of the housing projects of one major city for a year on the excise taxes paid by the residents. Not close.

Ryan will lay the facts out and folks can make their minds up based on the facts, not spin.

These programs are broke. Grow up and recognize that they need to be blown-up and put back together.

Now tomorrow when you're at work just remember that you're working to help pay for Warren Buffet's social security and Medicare. Why? Because the cowards we have elected over the past 20 years, from both parties who knew these systems were going broke did not even have the stones to means test them, thats why.

I'm all for my taxes to pay for "the pill" if my taxes will also pay for my Viagra, extra rib condoms (for her pleasure), and a bottle of nice wine to make it all work.

Deal?

What I am agianst is government mandated corporate products ie,healthcare, retirement plans, birth control, alternative energy etc.

A woman is free to pay that 10 bucks for her birth control pills all they want.

Now is it someone else's responsibility to pay for someone elses sex life.

Hell no they aren't

Now if that is twisted that is par for the course with that liberal elite who have been shown time and time agian to have no moral high ground about any issue discussed on here or in the real world.

I gotta admit, my face did turn a little red when I looked through that article (not sure if it was because I was wrong, or because I have to pay so much in taxes, probably a little of both). lol!

What do you expect in the email? More of the sms texting vocabulary of OMG OMG?
The email is definitely a panicky one requesting/begging for donations to the people who will be screwed eventually.

Sounds like you borrowed that line from the Democratic Campaign
(atleast thats what they have been reciting about romney). What Xtrozero indicated with calculations about his taxes is perfectly legal and all part of the tax filing questionaires which the IRS provides to all the tax payers (Dems, Republicans & Independents) alike. There are no seperate forms based on parties
Its just the Republicans are savvy and believe in working hard even at preparing their tax returns

Why did Romney pick Eddie Munster of all the people?

No wait, didn't that guy drive the Weinermobile once?

What a joke. A sad state of affairs when people cheer this guy.

I still can't figure out why he picked Ryan. I just don't get it. Romney needed to pick a moderate Republican to pull in more of the moderate/independent vote. I don't see how Ryan appeals to anyone outside of the straight ticket Republican voters he was already going to get.

You do realize that a family of 4 making about 40 grand a year pays federal income taxes, it is not a lot but they do pay them, by your stats, you are perfectly ok with 48% of the families in the USA making less than 40K a year, while providing huge tax breaks to millionaires and billionaires? Seriously? I guess I am really screwed up.

ETA: That is with both parents working.

Not a chance. $40k total income with two kids? That gets a refund every year.maybe, just maybe, a very small percentage kept by the government, but most, if not all taxes paid in are refunded if you are doing your taxes right.

A Ryan & Biden debate would be like Ali against Mr. Bean.
I generally avoid politics, but that would be one debate I would watch.

Ryan votes 93% pro-party for his career. No brain of his own.

At least McCain stood up for his beliefs...right or wrong.

It is a lose lose election in 2012.

Oh well, Survivor 24 and iPhone 5 are new and exciting.

The Democrats were very happy that McCain was the Republican nominee. He was their dream pick. A man who had no fire in the belly and no heart for real battle.
I think the Republicans learned their lesson.
