More Pakistani Hindus arrive in India, say they won

www.deccanherald.com

A fresh batch of Pakistani Hindus arrived in India Monday on board the Samjhauta Express, the peace train between India and Pakistan, and many of them said that they would not return given the atmosphere of fear prevailing where they live.

This has been a growing problem since many of them were stranded since 1947. Many of them are forced to convert and intimidated by localites and freelance terrorists alike. Many hindu women are forced to marry pakistani muslims to ensure their safety.

News such as these do not surface or make it to the MSM as its a local political issue. However the issue can quickly escalate into the regional conflict/skirmish similar to ones in the past.

I used to know a Indian Hindu that told me that as the Muslim population in his village increased, the Muslims became increasingly aggressive and dominant.

Eventually, he said he and his family were forced to flee for their own safety.

I've said this before on this board, a few years ago, but where I live there's a massive Asian* population. Initially, from the early 1970s, they were mainly Hindus (and Krsna types) from India and Africa. Lots of businesses, temples &c. Then, in the 1990s, the population shifted and large and steady influx of Muslims came in. Now there's no temples, very few Hindus and the last remaining Hindu-owned shop was petrol-bombed about 5 years ago. It's just an empty space in a row of terraced shops and houses now as it had to be knocked-down.

The area has always been a dumping ground for immigrants. A large Irish community started moving here in the 1850s and dominated the area until the 1960s/1970s. There's still some Irish leaving just outside the area and a small Catholic church (doubles up as a community centre) is here but now suffers from regular arson attacks, smashed windows and the like.

The whole area is split by a main road which no acts as a boundary for a 'no go' area.

Yep. Most do not retaliate. They move out of the way.

Did this happen on the Pakistani side or Indian side? Both sides, Hindus and Muslims began committing atrocities against each other. Muslims fleeing to Pakistan were killed, and Hindus fleeing to India were killed.
Thanks to the violence, and killings probably organised by political parties, these Hindus could only flee.

Today in the news there was yet another article about possible forced conversion.

A 14-year-old Hindu girl who was abducted two days ago has converted to Islam and married a Muslim in Pakistan, a media report said but her distraught father says that she "can never give up on her religion, she has been coerced into doing it".
