I can't believe the left is feigning so much sensitivity to this incident. It is really disingenuous to try to smear Ryan because of what happened.

The left?
So you think seniors on the right are cheering on Paul Ryan and his behavior toward this man?

The "Iowa" "incident" was apparently a planned disruption also, just like this one.
There are training sessions available to "disruptors". Some get paid. Some volunteer.
Some conclusions were that the "Iowa" people were from an outfit called Code Pink.
there is a thread about it....www.abovetopsecret.com...
Ryan may in fact be "handling" these things the way he is because he knows who they are !!
He has been around for a while and he is not an amateur.

And no, I don't think too many elderly conservatives have their panties in a bunch over this old news story.

Yeah, I saw on a few articles that it mentioned the women hacklers were wearing pink shirts. At least he didn't ask her if she had PMS, lol.

I am a senior citizen - - and this is very serious business.
I do not see them as hecklers - - I see them as united for their future welfare.
I get tons of emails - - politically related to Medicare - Social Security - Insurance - etc.
This is not a left/right party issue.

And I do not agree with you.
Do you have their group manifesto for their organized protest?
WHY did Paul Ryan suddenly decide to "privatize" his town hall meetings with his constituents? Is it right to charge $15 bucks for the privledge of asking your representitive a question?

Yeah. It's called the Communist Manifesto by Karl Marx. You should be able to find a copy online or at your local library.

Um, it's a Rotary meeting. You can tell by the huge Rotary banner standing behind Paul Ryan when he is speaking in the video.
At nearly every Rotary meeting, they have a guest speaker, and charge $15 a person to cover the costs of the luncheon. Paul Ryan was the guest speaker. Good grief.
The protests in these videos on this thread are staged - It's a publicity stunt for the leftists. Don't buy the hype.

The fact stand Mr Ryan's actions in response to it were unprofessional, demeaning, definately insensitive, and shouldn't be tolerated. If he were a man of good character and morals, he would have easily turned it into good media for himself, but his poor judgment and character stopped him. Too bad for him, he wasn't able to hide/lie better.

That doesn't surprise me at all. I had a feeling you wouldn't. Outside of ATS I haven't had anyone even mention this incident to me.
