As the months progressed and the research documents on each possible name grew -- including "several years" of tax returns that each potential candidate submitted, Myers said -- all the paperwork was stored overnight in a safe in a secure room at the campaign headquarters in Boston. No copies were made of the material, and all work on the vice-presidential effort was done in that room.

Mitt should release more tax returns when Obama releases his:
College Records
Passport
E-mails and Details about his dealings with Tony Rezko
Did Obama every claim to be a foreign citizens? Did he use foreign citizen status at college or on his passport?
At the end of the day Romney's taxes or Obama's mountain of secrets don't matter. We're in a 16 trillion dollar debt with over 8% unemployment. That's what matters.

Agreed, the whole voting process is a joke anymore. You have to show your ID to buy Sudafed but not to vote for the POTUS. It's a joke that's not in the least funny.

With each passing day, this character is looking more and more unbelievably pathetic. Get ready for a [color=cyan]LANDSLIDE VICTORY this election. And, HINT, HINT, it WONT be in favor of a Republican.
Phoney-Romney is the republicans WORST NIGHTMARE EVER!!!!

I don't care how much or little money the government confiscated from Mitt Romney.
I do care about the massive fraud that would be uncovered if Obama's college transcripts were ever released.

is this fair for him to ask his vp candidates for 'several years' of tax returns when mitt himself will only give the american people a couple years of his own tax returns.
how many years is several? id say a couple is 2, few would be 3, and several would b 4-5.
just give us a few years of your tax returns mitt. how about back to 2009?
in all fairness you should give us several like you asked paul ryan to give you. we really dont expect you to follow your fathers lead and give us a decade worth but it just seems like you have something to hide.

McCain also finds himself in the unique position of being one of the few Americans who has seen more than two years of Mitt Romney's income tax returns. Romney, who made his own bid for the 2008 GOP presidential nomination, reportedly provided 20 years of tax returns to the team vetting potential vice presidential picks for McCain.
