For some reason I feel disappointed when I open what I think could be an interesting thread, only to find that it's 2 years old, or even a month old. I don't know why it bothers me.

When I click on the tab 'Recent Posts' I scroll down about halfway, and that's as far as I go. No idea why.

How far does everyone else go when searching for interesting threads?

What I do is click new topics, then underneath that live topics fire hose. It is my understanding that recent posts is when someone recently posts on any thread, whether the thread was started 2 hours ago or 5 years

I typically don't.

I search for interesting people. Specifically, my friends list.

When I do though I click on New Topics. It's updated every time someone starts a new thread. No scrolling involved, I just let the mechanics of the site do the work for me.

I guess I'm lazy that way.

Its disappointing when ATS is boring, some thing occurring more often lately,

but it encourages me to go else were and find all sorts of gems.

I use the search function and some keywords.
I always read people saying the seach function sucks and the mods need to fix it.
I almost always find the story I was going to post.
I guess the search works fine, just some meatbags may be flawed.

I feel so HK!

Sometimes I'll read throughout and entire thread, but most of the time I'll just look at the first page and the last page. I'll follow new threads though.
