I'm getting bored of the ad nauseum discussions around here.
So from now on we'll be using the discussion flow chart.
Please read the flow chart and begin to follow it's rules.

I want to discuss with people. Not argue circular logic.

The flowchart is flawed from the start.
For example, nothing in the first box of the flowchart will change my mind.
HOWEVER, I may shed light and point out faults.
This would be a very valid thing.
Your flowchart is missing the adds a pro or con in the very first box.

Then pick your battles better.

Sometimes who you're discussing issues with is just as important as how you're discussing them. It's not my fault that you discuss things with people who make you feel you need to make a chart like that, so I don't feel the need to follow it. When I get to that point, I end the the discussion on my own regardless of who might have "won" it. And after time, you'll begin to see who you want to discuss things with vs. the people you don't want to argue with.

And if that chart was only made to make a point, not to be taken seriously, then point taken. My point is, pick your battles better. No chart needed.

You do know that in the very act of telling people how to discuss, you go against your first logic block in the diagram?

But glad you let off some steam
