The reason the Democrats are interested in suppressing the military vote is obvious on its face. Active duty military and retired veterans tend to support Republican candidates more the Democrats, as suggested by polling from both the 2004 election and the 2008 election. The fewer servicemen and women are allowed to vote, the better President Obama's chances of being re-elected are.
At the same time, a President Palin would strike at the enemies of the United States, such as Iran, and assist her friends with a whole panoply of tools
