Sol 3 hasn't showed up yet - where is it? (Curiosity rover)

It depends on what the tasks are for that particular day. When this thing gets moving, and samples have been taken/are being analysed, you'll have a few days where the rover won't be moving or taking pictures.

Dude - I'm not going into a crazy conspiracy theory over here.

I'm just saying that what if Curiosity broke? I understand what you said earlier about them needing the bandwidth for more important things than pictures, but the media keeps recycling all of the Sol 2 photos and the site has been down for hours (as far as I know - I just woke up recently).

Actually, you know what? I know exactly what happened:

The Space mission the Government never told you about -

America had been testing radiation of chimps in space. These chimps were sent to Mars on what was considered to be a research mission. No one was prepared for what would unfold - the moment we made contact with the Red Planet something went horribly wrong - the chimps escaped. The mutations they received made them uncomprehendingly intelligent, gaining knowledge from the limited amount of resources. On board they discovered how to function with limited amounts of oxygen for long periods of time. Let's just say humans won't be the first species from Earth to colonize Mars.

This was the head guy at NASA that no one wants you to know about. He had a lot of power and could easily persuade people in the organization. He was authorized by the president at the time to do these heinous experiments:
