Knowing that the Earth is just a small dot



You can imagine how large that filament in diameter is compared to the Earth.

Looks like it's closed now. I don't see anything currently on the SOHO pictures.

It's nothing to worry about. I don't follow the Sun much but it seems such have occured a lot of times with similar lengths. Let's stir this spam of Curiosity threads for a while.
