Ben Swann takes a look at how the United States government created Al Qaeda and yet in some countries is still fighting them while in others is supporting them.

Yeah I have him added on facebook, all his updates are what I been waiting to hear on TV and hopefully the start of a trend of true journalism. He is smart to have gained such a massive online following in a short time and posting everything to be spread to the online masses so even if they try pulling his show somehow it will only add to the fuel.

The U.S. government did not create Al-Qaeda. It was an organization that was created from the start with an anti-western agenda as well as an anti-Soviet one. This totally bogus rumor comes from the fact that several U.S. supported Afghan commanders during the Soviet occupation joined the Taliban. Although it was in hindsight a mistake to support those leaders (such as Gulbuddin Hekmatyar), its also worth noting that most of the Afghan leaders we supported remained pro-U.S. to this day, a good example being Ahmed Shah Massoud. During the Soviet occupation of Ahganistan, the organization that would become Al-Qeada refused U.S. funding multiple times, and according to some of OBL's closest associates, had an anti-U.S. agenda as early as 1985. As for the U.S. also allegedly supporting branches of Al-Qaeda, that is also false. Just because the U.S. supports some Sunni rebel groups, does not mean that we are supporting Al-Qaeda. Not every sunni muslim rebel group is Al-Qaeda related.

Yes...it's more then just the soviets..and it was more then just the soviets then.

Al-Qaeda was originally a CIA computer data-base...

www.dailypaul.com...

They have used this "Name" in place of the boogie-man to heard us into the direction we need to go.

Nothing new there....

But, it is nice that people are really starting to wake up...hopefully they'll finally prosecute all those that helped lay out this planned design of greed and power and global take- over.

Wow@Antonia1's comment...and wow wow...I suggest that you do more research. We have facts in black and white ..in color...

Look up Atta and his part w/ the CIA....and you'll go from one dot to the other dot....the link I've posted in here gives a lot of detail as well...

Do you have any sources to support this claim?

Do you think the administration would let the Secretary of State repeat false rumors that paints US foreign policy in a negative light, if it wasn't true? If you skip to 2:20 in the video you can hear it straight from the horses mouth.

Wow Ben is really starting to push the limits now... this guy has some serious balls of steel.

I'm surprised he didn't mention anything about the two following articles:
Al Qaeda Taking Deadly New Role in Syria Conflict
Like In Libya, Al-Qaeda Flags Now Fly In Syria!

And whether the U.S. actually created Al-Qaeda is completely irrelevant at this point in time. The fact is many Western Governments, including the U.S. are supporting and funding Al-Qaeda in their effort to overthrow these Governments.

I thought it was common knowledge that Al Qaeda was a CIA cell !

If my memory serves me. It was established to help fight the soviet invasion of the the middles east.

Rambo 3 springs to mind.

Al Qaeda is the western worlds boogey man, created to be a fall guy to take civil liberty's and start false wars.

Check this clip out
www.youtube.com...

I do not trust the BBC but this clip does have some valid points its only 10 mins long.

and here is another straight from the horses mouth www.youtube.com... good old Hilary

Here is some extrenal content

Origins of Al-Qaeda For about two years after 9/11, whenever the subject of 9/11 or international terrorism came up, the US administration, and the Western Media kept shouting, “Osama, Osama!” Al-Qaeda was given a secondary place. Gradually, the positions were reversed. Now, at every incident of terrorism anywhere in the world, they cried, “Al-Qaeda, Al-Qaeda!” Osama moved to secondary position. Indeed, to shift the spotlight from Osama, other shadowy fighters, such as, Abu Mossab AlZarqawi, were brought to prominence. Before Sept 11, 2001, you could hardly find a mention of Al-Qaeda in the US Media. But, immediately after the dramatic attacks both the electronic and print Media began to speak of this hitherto almost unknown entity with such deep knowledge and understanding as if their reporters had been tracking and covering it for years! A classic example of this publicity was the “Special Report” in Time, Nov 12, 2001, that was spread over more than two-thirds of the magazine, whose blazing cover title was, “INSIDE THE AL-QAEDA—Bin Laden’s Web of Terror.” The report was mum on how Al-Qaeda had so smoothly overcome all the insurmountable odds and so utterly disabled the US national security agencies and authorities, and had hijacked four American airliners and smashed three of them into most high profile buildings in broad daylight! It gave no explanation how Time had gathered such encyclopaedic knowledge of Al-Qaeda so soon after 9/11? The report was silent on many publicly known facts. It hid the fact that it was CIA that had picked up Osama and initiated him (through the Saudi Intelligence) into the anti-Soviet Afghan Jihad.

Well what did Al Qaueda do so far? Attacked America on 911 and then conveniently hided out in Afghanistan, which was invaded by England for Geopolitical reasons, then invaded by Russia for Geopolitical reasons and then invaded by america to get bin laden.

Then Alquaeda had a hand in Iraq in the strife between Sunnis and Shiites.
Then Al quaeda helped topple Ghadaffi
Now Al quaeda is fighting Assad.

Oh and Alquaeda told Iran to stfu about 911 having been an inside job.

With enemies like that you dont need allies.

You are mixing up Taliban, AKA Afghan natives or tribes residing in the territorry identified as Afghanistan (many reject the Afghan goverment) with Alciada. Common mistake.

Well with a post like that and a membership that just started yesterday...you're spot on!
So...which gov't entity employs you...CIA...no wait...NSA...or is it the DHS?
Either one, you still need some source to back up that paid advertisement.

Look, the gov't funded their own programs to get their agenda across.
It's simple. They want certain things done, they pay certain people.
You can't get a "new world" order willingly.

It's not up to them to tell the truth about it.
It's up to US to find out for ourselves and do something about it!

LOL!

Read some History. You need to understand Brzezinski's role in this.

In Brzezinski’s opinion the Afghan rebellion had the possibility of giving the Soviet Union their own “Vietnam”, if they were to receive outside support. Brzezinski also believed that Muslim rage, and a settlement in the Middle East was in the United States long-term interests. Most importantly, Brzezinski believed that “funding the Afghan mujahedeen would advance the ambitious goal he had fostered for the previous three decades--the dismantling of the Soviet Union” .

In February 1980, five weeks after the initial invasion by the Soviets, Brzezinski visited a refugee camp along the Pakistan and Afghan border where around 350,000 Afghans had fled. The refugees told stories of Soviet forces destroying their mosques and villages, and one told Brzezinski that they didn’t want food and rations, but arms and ammunition. Brzezinski told the refugees that in his opinion, they would return to Afghanistan because that land was theirs, “And you shall go back because your cause is right and God is on your side. You should know that the whole world is outraged. Not only the world of Islam but the world of Christianity is outraged” (Brzezinski in Nelson, 2008, p. 109).

Nothing is irrelevant to those that don't know. Getting the truth on tv to those that do not look tings up themselves might make more open their eyes and start looking into things. The more people that start looking into things the more people will start taking action the more change will start to happen.

Yes but quite honestly the theory that the CIA created Al-Qaeda is a very fringe theory and many people are unlikely to believe it without some hardcore evidence, and to tell the truth there isn't enough evidence to go around stating it as fact, although I believe it is true, we must tread carefully because making such extreme accusations without any extreme proof only makes us look like crack-pots... plus it's irrelevant to the situation we currently face, because we now have ample evidence to suggest the U.S. is backing and funding Al-Qaeda troops and that's what we need to be focusing on, if we focus on the here and now and the proof that is right in front of our faces we can make more progress compared to focusing on old news and old theories which have been discussed in depth.

Yes but my point was this was actually on tv and unfortunately the majority rely on television to get their news then spread that news to their social groups who in turn spread it to theirs.

PS: looks like we talked about his facebook but didn't supply the link so here it is for those who want to add him and get these great news updates.
