It's not the healthcare law that is causing the pizza prices to go up...it is Papa John's being chained to "shareholders" (investment bankers) to be a profits whore for them.
Papa John's could easily comply with the healthcare law, improve their workers lives, and not raised their prices one cent...but that means no money for the rich guys...so they have to stick it to the working class to please their masters.
But you go ahead and blame a law that is focused on making sure everyone has health insurance so they don't die.
Profit.
What a dirty word.
Let's all shake our fists at making money and profit!
*shakes fist*
but dont you dare use the wotd socialist
funny how money and profit aren't dirty words

I couldn't agree with you more and it isn't called Obama Care it's called The Affordable Care Act.

And by the same token, the Bush Tax cuts are not named after President Bush but are really called "The Jobs and Growth Tax Relief Reconciliation Act of 2003, and was signed by President Bush, which is where "The Bush Tax Cuts" come from.

So since obama pushed for and signed the Affordable Care Act why shouldn't it be called obama care?

The title should really go to the only guy who was able to implement the affordable care act.
Romney.
In Mass. 98% of residents are covered and health costs for the state and citizens have gone down.

First they came for my pizza, but I'm lactose intolerant, so I didn't care. . . .
Then they came for my tofu,. . .
Get used to ALL prices going up for everything. It's the legacy of ACA.

Who are the shareholders of Papa John's?
I think you will find this pretty revealing.
Among the shareholders of Papa John's:
JPMorgan Asset Management, Inc. (1,511,769 shares)
Goldman Sachs Asset Management LP (341,390 shares)
Rothschild Asset Management, Inc (181,107)
Says a lot!

Making profits is fine, being tied down to have to increase your profits every quarter to please your shareholder masters creates a system where people will always get screwed over.

After reading this latest "cost related" bombshell related to ObamaCare, I think we all need to re-think the definition of "Rebellion" as we know it !!
According to very reliable sources, this bombshell will stir up just about everybody in the whole nation !
I for one have just about Had it UP to HERE
The usual delivery runs about $20. According to Schnatter, the cost of health insurance to his employees might raise the price about 1%. If it had gone up twice that because of a pepperoni shortage, I doubt it would have made the news at all.

Its cheaper and prices are fixed, but you have to wait in line dying to get help.

'You can expect it to raise further from those costs, and it most certainly will. Friends in trucking have told me there isn't much being soft peddled about the changes this forces on them. Add to that fuel spikes for shipping and staple items like Corn and Wheat being wiped out to as high as 20% of the whole national crop. (78% of corn cropland is currently in severe drought status..so I'd read a few hours ago at NOAA)

The per Pizza price is JUST the snowball downhill to offset the enormous jump in labor costs. Obviously, Pappa isn't onboard with a Gov't approved health plan quite yet.

To the MAJORITY of the free world - who were AGAINST this, by the way, it IS Obamacare. Calling the "Affordable Care Act" has obvioulsy turned out to be a lie as there is absolutely nothing affordable about it! It's not affordbale for businesses, not affordbale for individuals and certainly not affordable to the tax-payers. The only people it is "Affordable" for are those leaches on society who pay no taxes and will receive free healthcare - so please spare me the hand wringing nonsense!
Now that we've dispensed with your silly obfuscation, how about addressing the theme of the thread - the fact that the cost of OBAMACARE is going to bury consumers, workers and tax-payers???
