Ever been to a desert? Erosional sediment pathways are everywhere, and can easily resemble pieces of roads from a distance. It's distracting when you're out there and trying to see the course of a 'real' road ...

If this were a road, it would be enormous and easily visible by orbiting cameras.

OP I didn't read the whole thread, I just discovered it. What do you think about that 'road like' zig zag on the background mountains I just posted?

Anyone, could be it natural? Your thoughts?

Thanks for your inputs, can you provide photos of similar natural formations here on Earth? Regards.

After I post 2 stories with photo's and put forth Blatant and Bizzare statements with claims about a trip to Mars and then an obvious Hoax video as " Examples " of Obsurd and Ridiculous Claims.

Hey~ To be honest, I thought your story of the trip to Mars was pretty cool, and a very welcome joke in this dense thread.

... my response to that was just an IRRESISTABLE poke of fun
... since ... well, in the midst of all this bickering, ya did manage to actually show us the wrong crater ... with a similar name ... hey, all in good fun~

I don't think a single person thought you were being serious on that one ...

As for the Hoax video saying it was leaked Curiosity footage ... hmmmm, nah, you weren't posting that one as an obvious hoax ...i suspect it actually did have ya fooled ... at least at first. You posted that attempting to support our original premise and got BURNED!!!

Take a look at this:

i48.tinypic.com...

See the apparent terrain 'copy & past'?

You can see it in the high def NASA photo here too:

mars.jpl.nasa.gov...

In the area between the first black square on the left and the second one to its right.

Photoshop or glitch?

Haven't looked at the full image yet, but that odd spot you point out looks to me like a mosaic issue ... in the full image, does it appear to fall along a seam of joined images?

What I find odd is that I can't find an horizontal pattern for this, I mean, it's like narrowed to a small area where part of the image was repeated in several consecutive vertical layers.

Maybe it's just a glitch, or maybe somebody made a fast edit to cover up something there.

Below is another great picture of of the Atacama Desert in Chile. There are road looking strips in this photo too, but they could easily be air brushed out by any skilled film and movie making technicians.

Parts of Chile's Atacama Desert hasn't seen a drop of rain since record keeping began.

Also a perfect, deserted and desolate location for any movie shoot location...

Thanks ( excentryk ) for Noticing my attempt at some " Humor " here on this potentially volitile subject. Many other ATS Members have posted much better answers than I have on " Why " there is a Great Potential for doubt about Nasa's claims of landing such a complicated landing sequence that has "Never" been done before.

But I think we all "Knew" way down deep that "they" "Nasa" was going to have a successful landing, no matter what the outcome of this landing really was. There are Way too many things at stake on this paraticular Mars Landing, for Nasa not to claim a "Complete Success" - No Matter What Really Happened...

For those that have Never Seen the Old Movie " Capricorn One " now would be a good time to pull it up on Youtube and Watch it Free! Anyone Remember the Movie " Capricorn One " ?

This . . .

I don't understand how anyone could trust NASA after they went and said

"Oops, we lost the original moon landing footage"

Where did they say that?

en.wikipedia.org...

I'd bet they are buried in Hertfordshire, under a tree.

No, they were taped over:

www.hq.nasa.gov...

Moon Hoaxers can never explain what they would expect to glean from the original telemetry tapes if they could find an antique tape reader in working condition.

So much delusion in this thread.

"Oh, look! There is a VERY obvious cloning artifact in a pic that Nasa willingly released..

Lets not assume the obvious, that there was a glitch in the transmission of the image from 56million miles away...no no that cant be right. Obviously, it HAS to be a global, multi billion, impossible hoax and obviously, the clever people at Nasa cannot figure out how to use the clone brush properly. No No, they did this crap job then released the pic anyway, instead of....i dunno, not releasing it with such damning evidence of their cover up....yes. that MUST be the answer. The guys at Nasa are smart enough to hoax lunar and mars landings, but not smart enough to figure out how the clone tool works in PShop.

LIke i said... so so so so much delusion going on. Come back to the real world guys.

The premise of this thread is as follows:

A group of scientists who are curious about the conditions on another planet are given the opportunity and money to design experiments to study it. Engineers are then given the opportunity and money to design a spacecraft that can carry these experiments to another planet. Rather than actually make all their dreams come true, they all, thousands of them, decide to pocket the money and fake it all.

This is not a strawman argument, it is the necessary precondition for the theory.

The Blurring and Whiting out of the most recent Mars Photo's sent back by the New Curiosity Rover has begun..!

For all of the Faithful Believers and Followers of Nasa's Mars Curiosity, here's your latest Photo Nasa is giving you. The top half of this photo sent all the way from Mars is of course all whited out and smoggy looking on the top half of the photo. No doubt all of the Faithful Nasa believers will have a Really Good Excuse Ready to provide everyone world wide as usual for the poor faded out smoggy looking quality of this photo.

Personally I am not Surprised one bit by Nasa providing a photograph like this from Mars. These types of photos are just " Par for the Course " with Nasa, and yet still the faithful followers and believers will believe any excuse nasa will give for the poor quality.

Enjoy the latest Blurred out and Whited out Top Half of this Latest Mars Photo sent to earth by curisosity all the way from Mars...

Obsurd, ridiculous photographic results to say the least.

I have unmasked Armadillo Aerospace and NASA. Their rockets are fake.

NASA’s Morpheus is identical to Armadillo’s Texel and uses the same technology fiction.

John Carmack, the famous video games developer that now builds rockets in his cellar, is the most skilled rocketry consultant of NASA.

NASA’s engineers have invented Lunar Lander Challenge, and they have put their false trust in John Carmack. They know perfectly that his rockets are a foolishness, but they have faked to trust him.

The Morpheus program is a foolishness.

Some posts back I have explained that engine thrust of Armadillo’s Texel rocket engine works in the wrong way.

It pushes to the left instead of pushing to the right and it pushes to the right instead of pushing to the left to keep the rocket vertical. The rocket would rotate in the wrong way and would crash.

NASA’s engineers are big swindlers but they can’t swindle very well.

Go here: www.hq.nasa.gov...

Wait for a moment, download is long.

These are some documents of NASA about Snoopy (LEM). They show biggest science and biggest technology.
Well, with all that knowledge, why do NASA's engineers need the help of John Carmack, a video games developer?

Because all those documents about Snoopy have been written to impress people, but they are science fiction.

If you had a real science and a real technology to land on the moon, you would keep them secret.

Please point out where there's "blurring and whiting out" of the photo. Where you see "blurring and whiting out", I see fine dust particles suspended in the atmosphere.

There's also a terrible lack of basic understanding of Newton's laws of motion in this thread.

If this is the state of education today, I weep for our future.
