I live in Alberta, Canada and most of the summer we have reached over 30 degrees celcius which is hot for us. Record breaking temps this year
everywhere in the province. I was at a festival last weekend and sat out in the sun for eight hours. I had water, food, healthy snacks, a hat and 45
SPF lotion on and I still got sunburned - even though I lathered on lotion every 30 minutes or so. I forgot to put lotion on the top of my left foot
and it still hurts today. I could barely walk the next day. Had mild sun stroke as well. Lesson of the day - use good sunscreen and protect
yourselves against the UV rays.
I cried like a baby the first shower I had after and learned my lesson the hard way.
