I have family down there and they are ok. Officials are telling people to stuff towels under their doors. The smoke can be seen as far away as Napa and the flames can be seen from across the bay.

After i made sure my familty was ok, i scanned for more news about it and came across another arcticle reporting on the opening of the chevron 110th annniversary exhibit at the history museum that was to open tomorrow (tuesday 8/7/2012).

I wonder what would happen to the national nuclear laboratory (Laurance Livermore National Lab) right on the other side of the hills i live right next to if something like this were to happen.

I live 35 miles down wind. Wish I had those gas masks in my prepping supples. Guess I'll have to get a pair now.

Horayy!!!This just means higher gas prices for California. Say hello again to prices at $4 a gallon. Say goodbye to that extra change in your pockets.

BOOOOOO!

This is no good. I live near there and just opened my windows to air out the house. Guess I should go close them.

Oh the joys of the oil industry.

You think they will be fined for this or let off for the hook for this event?

They probably will and it will necessarily result in higher prices or scarcity.

If it is 110 years old you think they might have updated it before the party.
Does anyone know if it was terrorists yet?
