Not sure what to make of this prediction, but this is a strange coincidence:

- Mt Tongariro [in New Zeeland] erupted at 11.50pm last night, hurling rocks up to 1km. - Ash cloud drifting to the east of Tongariro, landing as far as Napier city

Link to NZ Herald

And also from TVNZ:

Auckland University Associate Professor of Geology Dr Phil Shane said GNS scientists saw an increase in seismic activity at Mt Tongariro recently but the volcano was quiet just before the explosion. "It shows that there isn't always often a fool-proof way of predicting these things," said Shane.

It's clear that part way through the day on August 10th 2012 there will be at least one major NWO event to reshape the world. If it's Tsunamis there it will be part of Agenda 21 i.e. United Nations (Bankers) want an excuse to relocate us into Habitats

First, none of these is independent as they are ALL on ATS and regardless of whether or not the threads were read by each poster, the probability is high that they were as they are all related "types" of posts which obviously interest the posters so they most likely read them and either purposefully or subconsciously used the same dates.

Second, the 104 hr warning has NOT been posted. That was a heads up that it is coming, just as Coombes did in the past. None of these stories relates to each other except for the subject matter, which in this case relates to almost EVERY other claim of doom and gloom coming.

All we need to do now is somehow relate this to an alien invasion and voila, you have successfully combined every element of doom for us on Earth.

Google maps has an addon which can be used to show sea level rises.

I couldn't find it on the Google Maps site, but here's an instance of it which is still running - geology.com...

Admittedly it's based on a steady rise in sea level rather than a sudden and catastrophic inundation, but when set at +60m (approx 200ft) most of the low lying areas of Australia east of the Great Dividing Range are indeed inundated.

In Sydney, the Northern beaches, the CBD, Inner west, Down to Sutherland and inland to Kurrajong would be under water.

In the southwest of Sydney would be inundated down through Macquarie fields, Ingleburn and Minto down to the northeastern edge of Campbelltown.

Looking at main supply and evacuation routes...

The Hume Highway heading south is only open near Campbelltown (Assuming that the bridges are still standing).

The Great Western Highway heading west into the Blue Mountains Area is only accessible from the Glenbrook area.

Bells Line of Road heading West into the Blue Mountains toward Lithgow is only accessible from the Kurrajong area.

The Putty Road Northwest towards Singleton is a no-go. The upper colo region would be totally inundated.

Heading north towards Newcastle via the F3 is a no-go since the bulk of the Hunter region would be inundated.

Even though inundation from a Tsunami event would not likely be permanent, the destruction wrought would take decades for us to recover from. Victoria to FNQ would be trashed and I don't even want to think about the loss of life which would result from a sudden inundation of that magnitude.

great post.

i too live in the outer sydney area near penrith which after looking at your link we would be right in the thick of it. i have told the kids where exactly they can go to be safe on higher ground...and arranged the meeting place that in case of disaster and i cant get too them, where we would meet.

they looked at me like i was crazy. i just told them you may never this information...but if you do here is the plan.

If people read his damn FB page properly they would'nt get themselves in to a tiz over it and twist what he actually writes. His messages are quite clear in simple English.

In NZ there is the Moonman; now either you believe him or you don't; no point crying over it. I just hope none of this comes to pass but in reality let's be serious.....it's not a matter of if but WHEN it's going to happen. There is ALWAYS a risk if you live close to a volcano, tectonic plates or even the coastline just as there is a risk living right next door to a nuclear power station or science lab or even breathing the air inside an passenger airline not knowing who carries what bacteria or virus. Every day we take chances; it may not happen today, tomorrow, next week or next month. It may not happen this year or the next. No body really knows 100% sure of anything. But if someone knows something we don't and it saves alot of lives.....what if it does'nt happen then what's there to loose?

Personally I take this all with a grain of salt; kind of like one eye open and the other closed. It's not a matter of we'll see if Mitchell is correct, it's a matter of when because we know at some point it IS going to happen. It did in San Francisco, it has in Japan and NZ as well as many other parts of the world where there are tectonic plates and volcanos. Am I worried? I'm probably more worried about Agenda 21, GMOs, vaccines, diseases, famine and war right now than I am of Mother Nature.

I followed Mitchell on facebook for a few months, then I ditched him. I've seen him do this before. Make an urgent post, warning that something is about to happen, telling everyone to get ready. Then when nothing happens, his fans will say ..... BUT it's not the OFFICIAL warning. I'm sorry, but it's all bs mind games. I never took Mitchell seriously, I just followed him out of curiosity but now I see he just plays games with people.

I'm not sure why everyone is able to view his Facebook page differently. Those that are friends of his can see everything. Right now, his friend list is at maximum and you can only subscribe. For me, subscribing only shows me July 1st and prior. Some have said subscribing shows them everything. It is not Facebook ignorance. I have tried everything and cannot see anything after July 1st.

If you see a new post on his page PLEASE post it here either as a quote or screen shot so we can all view it. Someone said he has posted something new since the OP. I don't think anyone has posted what that post said, though I could have easily missed it in this huge thread.

So, those of you who are able to see everything, can you please post his latest update? Thank you!

Hello ATS members,

Although I do not believe in prophesy or psychic abilities, I read this discussion with an open mind. And I did a bit of google search on catastrophic earthquakes and their prediction. I am giving below some links and their highlights...IT DOES SEEM THAT A BIG ONE IS DUE SOON, how soon, no one can say!

1) Aftermath: What if a killer earthquake were to strike Karachi - PUBLISHED July 29, 2012
tribune.com.pk...
“The three plates are also moving at different speeds,” warns meteorologist Karam Khan of the Pakistan Meteorological Department. “If one suddenly slips or goes backwards, there can be a major earthquake or a tsunami, since the plates are in the sea.”

2) Mt Tongariro eruption: Latest updates...Online Editor | Tuesday, August 7, 2012 7:25
www.rotoruadailypost.co.nz...
"However, it was too early to predict the next series of events, and GNS Science expected heightened activity could continue for several weeks."

3) Bracing For Impact: Earthquakes And Risk Reduction - By Boris Sullivan - Sat, Jul 28th, 2012
thailand-business-news.com...
"But, we only need to worry about the big ones, right? Wrong, says Gaherty. There is a very poor correlation between an earthquake’s magnitude and human deaths, and a similarly poor correlation with economic loss."

4) Hidden 'super volcano' could kill millions, scientists warn - 8/3/2012 2:06:52 PM ET
www.msnbc.msn.com...
"But the zone of intense seismic activity, which the ancients thought was the entrance to hell, also could pose a danger of global proportions with millions of people literally living on top of a potential future volcanic eruption."

5) Is a major earthquake going to hit Oregon? - POSTED ON AUGUST 3, 2012, AT 8:05 AM
theweek.com...
"A new study forecasts that the Beaver State could be rattled by a massive earthquake as powerful as Japan's devastating 2011 temblor.."

6) City prepares to begin construction of Fire Station 21 - POSTED: Monday, August 6, 2012 at 04:18 PM PT
djcoregon.com...
“We’re really concerned about the (predicted) subduction zone earthquake and our water supply,” said Glen Eisner, logistics chief for Portland Fire & Rescue.

7) Predicting a major earthquake not an exact science - July 22, 2012
ajw.asahi.com...
"When an anomaly is discovered, seismologists and other specialists are assembled to determine whether it represents a precursor to an earthquake. If it is judged to be so, the prime minister issues a warning. Citizens are evacuated and economic activity grinds to a halt. Bullet trains and other modes of public transport are restricted, and the overall effect on society is immense."

8) 'Collective transfer' eyed for quakes - (Jul. 21, 2012)
www.yomiuri.co.jp...
"Two working panels of the government's Central Disaster Prevention Council have released interim reports, urging central and local governments to do everything possible to mitigate damage from two devastating earthquakes and tsunami that the council believes could strike the Pacific coast and the Tokyo metropolitan area at any time.
One of the two predicted quakes, the Nankai Trough earthquake, would occur in a submarine trough off the coast of the nation's central and southern regions, the reports said.
The other, the Tokyo metropolitan epicentral earthquake, would strike the capital and surrounding areas, according to the reports.
The panels, headed by Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda, are studying countermeasures for two quakes.
The interim report by the Nankai Trough quake panel said it would cause tsunami, 10 meters or higher, to hit 11 prefectures, including Tokyo."

I would like to say here, that it seems odd that the 104 hour warning, all the news items might seem to point at 'something big'.
Maybe, its this Sunday, maybe 5 years or 50 years down the line. Geological/Seismic phenomena are common and have happened before, and will happen...can anyone predict them with such conviction...that's the question!

Be Safe.

I just tried what you did with the word generator. The initial word was "opinion". I then cleared my head and asked "Is this mega quake event going to happen soon?" and hit the next word button and the new word was "Eight".

Now this is pretty crazy considering this is the eighth month of the year. Thanks for the link, that blew my mind.

My word was 'Documentary'. I just finished watching a docu last night. We truly are creating our own realities.

It's basically a given that the east coast of Australia, just like the northwestern coast of the United States, will suffer a devastating tsunami. I don't care if Mitchell Coombes has some special insights or whether the Japan thing was just a simple fluke. The emergency management authorities have thought it prudent to put together Tsunami disaster plans, so it can't hurt Joe and Jane Public to have a bit of a think about their own response to such an event in the unlikely event it was to occur in the very near future.

Kudos to Bella who posted above - the 60m inundation described in my previous post in this thread can be considered a worst case. If you can plot an escape route in that environment, then the more probable 10-20m inundation will be a piece of cake to respond to.

It's an historical fact that mega-tsunamis have inundated areas such as the east coast of Australia and Puget Sound on the west coast of the US. It's not a matter of "if" it will happen again, but WHEN.

This is one of those natural phenomena which could happen in an hour's time or it might not happen for a thousand years. If we're fortunate, then the Mitchell Coombes prediction of the Japanese events were a fluke - a lucky guess. But the fact remains, there has not been a devastating tsunami impact the east coast of Australia in recorded history (1788 onwards). Does that mean we are overdue for one? I don't know.

Here's some interesting reading (from MSM and academia) regarding the threat of a megatsunami impact on Australia's east coast -

www.australiangeographic.com.au...

mpainesyd.com...

The last one in particular is quite interesting. It supposes that one area of risk would be a large (9+) earthquake in the Tonga Trench. Much like the Banda Aceh tsunami focusing on the Indian and Sri Lankan coasts, a large earthquake in the Tonga Trench could focus towards the New South Wales Coastline between approximately Newcastle and Eden.

Time will tell if Mr Coombes is a fraud or not, but the hazards he's predicting are all too real.

Well i can say first hand that the day AFTER the Japanese tsunami i saw a post on his page from 104 hours before the event occured giving a 104 hour warning to all in Japan. It is feasible that he somehow hacked the time-stamp, but if he didnt do that then yes he actually predicted 100%.

I'll take your word.....

It's probably kinda morbid of me, but I kinda hope he's right. Just once I want a prediction to come to pass.

So let me get this straight, to peak your interest in predictions, you want multiple thousands of people to die??

How do you sleep at night thinking like this??

You want a prediction to come true, why don't you wait for football season and hope someone predicts the Browns to beat the Steelers or something like that.......Why death and destruction??

If California gets hit by a tsunami, the price of organic carrots is going to go through the roof, they all seem to come from around there.
I guess I'll have to go see a farmer who naturally grows deer carrots without any chemicals added and get some good ones for a quarter of the price. They are a lot more interesting looking without that patented process to make them all look long the same.

This is my first post so forgive me if I'm replying to something completely irrelevant to the following. Here's what I think Mitchell is doing. On Facebook, when you make a new post you have privacy options you can choose. The options are Public, Friends, Friends of friends, only me, or specific lists of people. I think this guy is signing on everyday and making a post about 104 hours etc. and marking it as "only me" Meaning only he can see that post. If an actual earthquake occurs, he just goes back and changes the privacy option to public on whichever post is closest to 104 hours back. The rest remain invisible to everyone but himself or specific people he names or co conspirators needed to post replies prior to the actual earthquake.. Just a thought.
I also noticed on his Japan Quake prediction post there are two or three people that actually commented between 3/7 and 3/11. A girl from the same town I read he's from and some generic name who has no friends, one photo of a screenshot message about Coombes and only one subscription. A subscription to Mitchell's page.

With regards to Terrence Makenna's Timewave Zero, the second lowest point on the entire chart is Auguest 30th 2012. It is the most significant point thus far until December 10th 2012. I thought it would be most relevant to mention that. The truth will still be the truth even if no-one believes it, and as Einstein himself once said 'Condemnation without investigation is the highest form of ignorance'. (Do your homework basically). :-)

The only ones who seem to have seen it prior to Japan are highly suspicious in my book. Perhaps I'm wrong, but I've used this method of deceit to play pranks on my buddy list before and when I first read of Coombes on here a few years back, that was the first thing that popped in my head.
